The home and gardens are wonderful! We spent an hour walking the grounds, then toured the house. The house has the original furnishings and is beautiful. There are a couple of women inside that are happy to tell you some of the family history. Made it so nice. We loved the time that we spent here.
Loved this place!!! Diverse plant life, a beautiful mansion with interesting history, great views of the bay, unique bamboo bird sculptures and extremely friendly docents working in the gift shop. Great destination to take at your own pace, puts you in a very relaxing headspace.
Magical! Late April visit was awash with daffodils and narcissi of all hues. The arboretum is fabulous, all set against fabulous water views. Also; lovely house, greenhouses, little beach, gift shop with all kinds of goodies.
Beautiful garden and landscape scenery. My family went here for Mother’s Day and we had a wonderful time, the staff was very friendly and the plants were just incredible!
A beautiful place to visit. The flowers and trees change during the spring/ summer/ fall, so each visit is unique. The weather and clouds also offer a varied experience. The daffodils in April are particularly stunning.
