Blue Pot Catering

We used Blue Pot to cater our plated dinner service, passed hors d'oeuvres, and rentals for our wedding and- WOW! Not only was the food delicious and prepared beautifully, but the staff was wonderful from start to finish as well. Danielle is a treasure. She was so easy to work with and quick to reply to any and all questions that I had throughout the planning process. Truly an 11/10 experience, I would recommend Blue Pot to anyone.

Outstanding experience!! There were no restaurants near to the venue my son and his bride selected for their wedding. I did not want to hire a "run of the mill" restaurant or grocery catering for our guests (about 28 people). After a lot of searching of the KC area, Blue Pot Catering was just what I was looking for--clear price points for the menu options and LOTS of amazing dishes to choose from. I was also planning this from out of state and Danielle, the office manager, was an excellent help! She responded quickly to my inquiry and gave detailed responses to all my questions. The hardest part was choosing our menu as there are so many incredible dishes to choose from. The day of the event the chef (I regret I do not recall his name!) who prepared our meal, delivered (27 miles) and did the set up himself. All the dishes were DELICIOUS! The guests were amazed at the quality of the food and everything tasted exceptional! One guest needed gluten free food, and this detail was also attended to very well! The food was first rate - high quality - tender meats - tasty flavoring - Everyone was happy! I even spied a couple of young elementary age kids enjoying what I considered to be more of an adult menu! Thank you, Blue Pot, for elevating our meal and EXCEEDING expectations!

We used Blue Pot for the entire wedding weekend. They provided the Rehearsal dinner (Italian menu as buffet); Social hour (passed appetizers); Reception (plated formal duet of coffee rubbed petite tender with rosemary chicken) and then Sunday brunch at my home. All the guests commented on how excellent the food was. They excelled with every style and type. I am ruined for cooking for large family gatherings again after that brunch! Blue Pot set up; a server stayed and kept up with the food and then cleaned up including sweeping and wiping my counters! There is a lot to concern yourself with a large wedding; I would say use Blue Pot and take the "food worry" off your plate. J&S Alton

A month later, our guests are STILL raving about the food — many came up to us during the reception to share how much they loved it. Catering was such an important part of our wedding, and Blue Pot truly exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, Chef Mark and Danielle worked with us to customize the perfect menu for our guest choice plated dinner for 200 people. They were professional, accommodating, and so easy to work with. We were especially thrilled that they are one of the few caterers in KC who cook on-site, and everything was executed flawlessly. Blue pot catering is my go to for catering work lunches for the team! Blue Pot’s food is always so fresh, delicious, and healthy with plenty of options to cater to any dietary preferences! I know what I’m feeding the team fuels them to be their best selves! Danielle is always a breeze to work with and so responsive and creative on figuring out the best options for our group! The delivery team is always on time and sets up nicely! Their chocolate chip cookies are also always a crowd fav that I often crave them!
