This theater/concert venue is simply beautiful. I had the pleasure of visiting it last Saturday, May 23, 2026, for Roberto Carlos’s concert, and I was impressed by the organization, the beauty of the venue, the staff’s courtesy, and the cleanliness of the restrooms. The prices for food and drinks are extremely reasonable—everything was wonderful and incredible. It’s located in a very convenient part of Boston, with plenty of parking nearby at an average cost of $20 to $30. I hope to return many more times. I highly recommend it—10/10.
Came for the 2026 MIKU Fest. Excellent experience. The staff were extremely helpful, and created a safe environment. The architecture was gorgeous and left my awestruck. For a 100 year old building it is well maintained. I would love to come back to the the building.
A gorgeous historic theatre, definitely one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been to a concert. The seats were comfy and had a great view even from up high. The acoustics and sound system were good, so it was a really enjoyable concert experience!
Art deco details everywhere, lavish designs across the two level atrium and into the theater where they have shows. We visited an event here (not the theater part) where they had a Music America exhibit downstairs, and servers and music up in the main lobby. Very loud space and could use some more seating for the event, but was a fun gathering for ISDA hosted by LSEG. Cool venue, contains both the Wang and Shubert Theatres. An extraordinary gift in 1983 from Dr. An Wang, founder of Wang Laboratories, ushered in the era of The Wang Center for the Performing Arts and lead to a total of around $10mm in donations to help restore the theater in the 1980s.
Oh man can you say historic one more time for the people in the back? Oh you dont have to- becuase you can hear the people in the back from the stage? Oh okay- talk about amazing sound quality! This place didnt even need speakers! What a beautiful historic building. And the bathrooms, yes dated but clean and functional.
