Our evening at the Caribou Club was nothing short of unforgettable. Our server, Dustin, was warm, charming, and so attentive that we felt like the only guests in the room. The sommelier, Oliver, displayed effortless mastery by selecting a wine pairing that bridged our quite different palates—a bottle we will both be seeking out for years to come. The dinner was luxurious & sophisticated yet serene - the casual elegance of Aspen personified. Adorned cones of the freshest ahi tuna. Spaghetti with caviar & brown butter that was both decadent and approachable. A pork bite painstakingly relayered to absolute perfection. Elk tenderloin with a consommé spun over decades into liquid gold. Unforgettable. Miles and his kitchen excel in technique, continuous creativity, and a clear long-term dedication to their craft. It’s a joy to experience!

Legendary private club and restaurant in downtown Aspen. The restaurant serves up incredible food, wine, and excellent service. The garlic cheesy bread, hamachi bombs, and the tomahawk are my favorites. Late night at the club is the best spot for dancing and cocktails in Aspen! It’s a private club, so you’ll need to purchase a membership in advance for dining and late night entry.

Owner and front desk girl very inappropriate and unprofessional. Staff very rude and militant. Came with a member to have a chic nice time but was treated like trash from coat check to down the stairs being screamed at as staff would come by “move out of the way” etc like no class pure trashy place

I have been going to Aspen for 20 plus years. The times I have went into Caribou have been with members who wanted to go there after dinner. It’s not a place I would personally go on my own. I was in Aspen this past week (February 13-20) with friends from Europe and Miami who had never been to Aspen. So we decided we would go to Caribou club for a drink after our dinner at Cashe Cashe. We bought the weekly membership (or whatever they call it, for $1,300). I saw Billy after we entered and went to say hello. I mentioned a local who I met Billy through (many times) as we have had many dinners in the private room before. He looked at me so rudely then asked if I was a member. I told him we had bought the membership to allow entry for the week. He shouted at me saying “you’re not a member, go away and do not speak to me”. I know this is part of his act and show. But this behavior was completely unwarranted and downright disgusting. My friends were appalled by his treatment to me. I was so embarrassed and just laughed it off, telling my friends this is his show. But the reality is his behavior is disgusting. I will never be going to this place again. I don’t understand how a place that claims to be the epitome of “elegance” in Aspen and “the” place to go can have such a disrespectful, angry man to represent the place. And as we left my friend had lost his coat ticket. Even after showing them a photo of him in the coat (from dinner, before we went to Caribou), they refused to give him his coat. It was snowing out. When the conversation kept going about the coat, they actually called the police!! It was the most ridiculous and dramatic situation I’ve ever seen. The police were already parked just outside of the place. So I do not know if this was another “show” or if they really called them, but a few officers walked up and I actually apologized to one of them for having to waste their time for something like this. I am still shocked over the whole situation. So save yourself from being humiliated and made to feel “less” than the members and don’t go to this place. Three of our guests (including myself) are Centurion card holders. And the payment for this “membership” is in the process of being disputed. What a waste of time and money. This place is a joke.
