David Austin Roses

I adore my David Austin roses. I have approximately 70 roses, and well over half are DA. They’re just lovely. The staff are helpful when I call, my order is shipped with excellent care, and nowhere else provides a five year warranty! I highly recommend them.

I love David Austin Roses - love the roses and love the company and people. They truly care about their customers and about roses~ they also support local schools and businesses. I have 51 David Austin roses and still want more!

We happened to be traveling through the area and decided to stop by and buy roses in person. We're do glad we did! This location isn't set up for retail, and being more of a shipping center I imagine they rarely interact with customers like us, but everyone made us feel so welcome! I've ordered online in the past and was so excited to get a peek of the behind the scenes magic. This company is full of dedicated and wonderful people. It's easy to see why customer service is always great. I love these roses, and will feel even more happy when I watch my garden grow after meeting some of the faces behind the business.

On May 1st, 2023 my wife received 6 rose bushes she ordered from David Austin Roses. She ordered 6 Own Root roses. 4 of the 6 roses received were Grafted roses (not Own Root). All 6 were dead or dying. After David Austin Roses repeatedly ignored her calls and ignored her emails, she finally spoke to someone at their corporate office in England. David Austin Roses finally admitted that they purposefully shipped the Grafted roses because they ran out of the Own Root roses my wife had ordered. On May 24th, after numerous attempts to settle this matter, David Austin Roses agreed to refund $128 for 4 of the Grafted roses. That refund was never made. On June 13th, we disputed the charges through our credit card. David Austin Roses claimed: Notification that goods were as described and received in good condition That was a lie. My wife contacted David Austin Roses the day the order arrived about the dead plants and the fraudulently shipped products. They have lied, delayed and obfuscated for more than three months now. David Austin Roses agreed to refund $128 but never refunded the money. Instead, they lied and said that the roses arrived in good condition and were the roses that my wife ordered. They have engaged in willful fraud and lied to our credit card company.

Ordered 3 roses from them last year. Received in good condition and followed their information putting them in a tub of water, planting with good soil, etc. My Strawberry Hill Rose died, but it was a tough tough summer this year. My Bathsheba and my Lady of Shallot have thrived and consistently give me beautiful flowers even in their first year. I used the Biotone starter from espoma and my soil is the Happy Farm. They are all in pots. I have ordered another 4 roses and they are resending me another Strawberry Hill rose. I look forward to them coming in February. Zone 9a.
