Everything about our event with East Meets West Catering was a tremendous success, and a large part of that was due to the outstanding service and support provided by their team. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our guests felt welcomed, comfortable, and exceptionally well cared for. The professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail demonstrated by everyone at East Meets West Catering made a lasting impression on both our team and our attendees. Every aspect of the event was executed seamlessly, and it was clear that guest experience was their top priority. We truly appreciated the partnership and collaboration throughout the planning process and on the day of the event. Their responsiveness, expertise, and commitment to excellence made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We are incredibly grateful for all of their hard work and look forward to working with East Meets West Catering again in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a first-class catering and event experience.

When my now-wife and I began planning our wedding, the catering was an enormous source of concern. Between us, we have large, local families who span three different ethnic/culinary groups, including some elders who have *extremely strong opinions* about food from their cultures. Our large, multiethnic friend group is more temperamentally chill, but with an intimidating breadth of cultivated palate and a number of food sensitivities. We had selected a nontraditional venue with (get this) not enough space to seat all of our guests at conventional tables and not enough ovens to cook food on site. And we were operating on a budget that did not seem commensurate with the number of people we would need to feed. East Meets West came to our rescue, led by our lovely event planner Catherine and executive chef Kevin. Their first draft menu was shockingly on-point, as if they knew us and our families better than we knew ourselves. It spoke to the full range of our heritage in creative and thoughtful ways, like serving both Chinese longevity noodles and Italian clam linguini out of takeout boxes. I'm very analytical, and one thing I appreciated was Kevin outlining for me his supply chain, day-of preparation and delivery logistics, and how he was thinking specifically of selecting culturally responsive foods that could be prepared and served under our venue's constraints. They helped us arrange a bit of an unusual tasting needed to win buy-in from our toughest familial customers, and we walked out of that with my wife saying "I am completely sold that they will be able to feed everyone and they will go home well fed having loved the food." We signed the same day. When the day came, everything was better than we could have hoped — the quality of the food was even better than the tasting, the way they planned the space left no one was waiting, and our guests went home raving (and, at our request, with leftovers in takeout boxes as 'party favors.') Our biggest/only regret from our wedding day is that we didn't get to eat more of our food; one of our favorite photos is of the two of us huddled in the corner of the venue wolfing down some food just before the dance floor opened. We would 100% recommend EMW to anyone, particularly those looking for caterers with the skills and creativity to carry off something nontraditional. We were absolutely thrilled and it was worth everything we put on the credit card. I wish we had more food photos, but here is one of the "luau" station with roast pork, bbq chicken, pineapple fried rice, and a tropical salad, all served atop banana leaves.

East Meets West is my preferred caterer in Boston for several important reasons: their staff, their creative food, their service and... they're fun to work with! First, Kathleen is outstanding at her job. She doesn't miss a beat while she covers every detail to perfection. And she's an incredibly nice person too! I've never had such creative food for my events -- truly a Roaming Burrata Bar with the most engaging server pulling the crowd in to try! Not only was it clever, it was delicious, different and exciting. At the end of the day I know Boston has great caterers, but honestly why would I go anywhere else? Use East Meets West if you want a truly top notch experience.

I have attended several events catered and event planned by EMW. They’re the best in the biz! I attend a lot of corporate as well as private events and those at the Exchange Center in the Seaport are my favorite. Beautiful views, a wonderful waterside patio perfect for a summer cocktail reception, and an immaculate event space all in one. The staff are warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly and the food is so yummy! No generic chicken on a stick and Chardonnay here, this food is gourmet and the wine pairings and specialty cocktails are delicious.

I recently hired East Meets West to cater a dinner for 12 people. We did drop off, which they accommodated with a menu that could be served room temperature. They provided a lovely mezze platter; a green salad with goat cheese and champaign vinaigrette; Moroccan spiced chicken; Citrus Salmon; grilled vegetables; and assorted brownies & bars. The food was outstanding. It was packaged so nicely, I didn’t even feel like I had to repot everything into nicer platters, which I usually do. They also provided wood tongs of various sizes and wood spoons for serving. The chef was able to accommodate multiple allergies (fish, seafood, sesame, peanuts, and tree nuts) and everything came with a lovely printed card, describing the dish and noting allergen info. The event was completely turnkey and the delicious food was appreciated by all of our guests. I will definitely use East Meets West again for similar events.
