Let me just start off with this, if you're looking for a sign to book Elizabeth, this is it, do it! Also, I almost NEVER write long reviews, but our experience was so amazing, I wanted to take my time and share our great experience. Short review - I booked Elizabeth to photograph my proposal, and she was absolutely the best! The photos were amazing, her attention to detail is excellent, and what my fiancée and I appreciated the most is how intimate the experience was, Elizabeth takes her time to really get to know you as a couple and she gets so invested in your love story which absolutely helps her capture the best photos. If you're like us too where we don't really know how to pose or anything, worry not, Elizabeth is great at instructing you guys what to do, how to pose, etc so the photos come out looking candid and natural. Our session was only booked for 30 minutes and we wanted it around sunset, we may have started a little early, but we were so grateful that Elizabeth decided to extend our session a little longer to capture more breathtaking photos since the sunset lighting was reaching its best point! Long review - I had been planning to propose to my then-girlfriend for some time, but had no idea where or how, I knew she wanted something somewhat private and intimate with just us two present. I knew also I wanted to capture the moment by hiring a photographer as well. As an LA local, I figured Malibu would be a nice spot but had no idea of a specific location, so I searched on google, and this is how I came across Elizabeth's page. She had a detailed section with her recommended spots around the Malibu area with sample photos and all the information you need to know. Right then, I knew she was the perfect photographer to hire, so I inquired and the rest is history. As I mentioned, Elizabeth will take her time to get to know you and your partner's love story, she becomes so invested that in the short amount of time of working with her, we immediately felt like we were good friends for years! She sent me two recommended spots based on my preferences along with a full album of her past clients at those locations, which I did check out and further discuss with her the plan for her to hide in plain site (which she was great at haha) and come up behind us to capture the candid moment I dropped on one knee. I didnt choose this option, but Elizabeth also has connections if you choose to have a surprise set up at the location when you arrive for the proposal. Also If you're looking for a great beach with rock side view when the tide is low, ask her about Leo Carillo beach! It was absolutely perfect for us. Part of the experience we booked was choosing photos to create a physical album which we did at a separate date at her personal office/studio in Ventura which she made us feel right at home complete with drinks and snacks! The session went smoothly and it was so fun. At the end, she took the time to let us know her other booking options when it comes time for us to plan for wedding photos and videography, and of course from our amazing experience, my fiancée and I would absolutely love to book with Elizabeth again in the future, she also offers discounts for repeat clients! Elizabeth was amazing! She was so helpful and professional during our engagement photoshoot, while also making us feel at ease and comfortable during the different posing. Even my (now!) husband couldn't help but be impressed! Then during our wedding, Elizabeth expertly wrangled all of the family members during the group photos and made sure we had privacy and had fun during our couple shoot. The photos came out beautifully, and if I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing :) Thank you Elizabeth!!!

Elizabeth was the first vendor we booked once we had our date set as we wanted to make sure we had someone great for our wedding. My husband had worked just a few weddings with Elizabeth, but remembered her/made a mental note for the future. After the initial inquiry, she sent a sweet video message to us, which immediately shows the level of service and care you're going to get. We went ahead with booking both an engagement shoot and the wedding service. For the engagement photos, Elizabeth helped us narrow down a location based on her extensive experience (we selected a place in Ojai). I was a little nervous, as we're not the most natural in front of the camera, but she was great at directing/posing us when needed and put us at ease. It was also a great way to connect before the wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, she had thorough questionnaires/discussions to make sure she understood what shots were important to us and how to best accommodate them. Shoutout to Bryan, her second shooter for the day, for also being wonderful to work with. Be prepared to have a "difficult" time when selecting your photos as there will be many to choose from! For both sessions, she scheduled time in person for us to review and select the photos we liked and for the printed books we got. All the photos were easily accessible after via a personalized website too.

If you want an absolutely amazing photographer who is also super cool and not boring, search no further. Elizabeth excels at her craft and she makes the whole process so fun. As soon as we met with her for our “interview” we knew we loved her. Not only did we want her to be our wedding photographer but we wanted to be her friend. We are both awkward in front of the camera but Elizabeth made everything so easy and enjoyable. She worked with the elements and delivered stunning photos even battling 40 mph winds and cars parked in inconvenient locations. She will do what it takes to get her shot. We highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone searching for an amazing, fun and talented photographer. She is the best of the best in our opinion and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

I was so impressed with the care and finesse Elizabeth puts in her Santa Barbara wedding photography - and the obvious joy she takes in it. She showed initiative in fine-tuning placement of our "Whimsical Spring Wedding Showcase" decor, jumping right in to help with the "props" in the Outdoor Sanctuary and making the guests feel at ease as she effortlessly captured key moments and angles of the event. Her professionalism, attention to detail and personal warmth spelled success at our Showcase! Elizabeth is a delight to work with!
