Completely disappointed and embarrassed. Ordered A arrangement for a funeral instead of getting a phone call or email. The flowers were delivered looking nothing like what was pictured on the website. I understand that things might’ve been out of stock, but I would’ve appreciated if someone would’ve contacted and said hey this is what we have available for today especially for the price that was paid

THE END OF AN ERA!! But hope persists . . . I’ve been buying from Food Among the Flowers since the 1990s and have spent thousands of dollars here over the years. The arrangements used to be full, beautiful, and an excellent value, and the service was always friendly. Over my last few orders, though, I noticed a decline: even with the premium upgrade, the bouquets felt smaller and less impressive than what I had received in the past. I later realized my recent orders were being filled by Winter Floral and Antiques, which now owns Food Among the Flowers. When I called to share my concerns, the employee I spoke with did not seem very interested in retaining a long‑time customer, and the conversation left me disappointed. Not long afterward, the owner reached out directly, expressed concern about my experience, and said he wanted the chance to correct any mistakes and make things right. I genuinely appreciate that effort and feel it speaks well of his intentions and his commitment to customer service. That said, the recent arrangements still haven’t matched the quality and value I remember from years past, so I’ll be looking at other options for future orders, even as I recognize and appreciate the owner’s attempt to address the situation.

All staff are super friendly and helpful with any need you have. I walk-in and call ahead for arrangements and have never been disappointed in the service nor the product...which there are many to choose from as they provide more than just flowers. Employees will work with the customers vision and within a budget. I am always satisfied with Food Among the Flowers!

Food Among The Flowers is hands down the best florist in Charleston, WV. Specifically, Jerry, their head floral guru, does an impeccable job! His creativity is unmatched! In June of 2022, their team designed custom floral pieces around specific flowers for a local non-profit I work at. See picture for reference!

Our family will always choose Food Among the Flowers, Great shopping experience inside with all the seasonal decor I could ever dream of! We also loved our gift basket that was delivered to us! Highly recommend stopping in to see all the beautiful things!
