A great place for breakfast in the Jackson area! My husband and I got the chicken and waffles and then their two egg breakfast plate and all of it was delicious. The applewood smoked bacon was amazing and the potatoes with onion and peppers were so flavorful. Also, the toast is from a local bakery and definitely tasted artisan. The espresso and drip coffee were also great. I would totally recommend stopping here and sitting on the patio in the morning to enjoy some amazing food and amazing weather!

We made a reservation for 13 people for a family breakfast to kick off our wedding weekend, and Café Genevieve was the perfect choice! Even with such a big group, our server was amazing, super attentive, and made sure everyone’s orders came out right. The food was incredible. They had everything from hearty Southern comfort dishes to lighter breakfast options, and everyone in our group found something they loved. They were also great about accommodating dairy-free and gluten-free diets. The drinks were delicious too (Bloody Marys to lattes)! It was the perfect way to start our weekend in Jackson, and it ended up being our favorite breakfast spot in the area. We’d absolutely recommend it!

I've been working in Jackson for over 2 years and I hadn't made it to the fun place, until now! I would highly recommend! I got the Cajun eggs Benedict and my man got the regular Benny. 🤤 Great people, fun art work and we can't wait to try the outdoor seating when it gets a little warmer. Also! The building has some fun history!

Cool spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Nice vibes inside and outside patio seating. Walked by early and there wasn’t a wait but towards peak brunch hours there was a bit of a wait. Moderate noise level but easy to talk and hear eachother. Food was good, Hashbrowns were the best! Pretty standard pricing for the area.

Cafe Genevieve knows how to turn breakfast into an event. The s’mores French toast was pure, unapologetic indulgence. Gooey Nutella. Marshmallow melting into every bite. Decadent in a way that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate what’s happening. It’s gluttony done right. I balanced it out with a side of eggs and potatoes, both solid and well executed. Across the table, the Cajun biscuits and gravy delivered serious flavor. Funky in the best sense. The gravy was thick enough to cling without overwhelming, and the sausage hit that perfect note of seasoning and texture. Comfort food with confidence. Drinks held their own. The Irish Coffee came strong and steady. The Huckleberry cocktail leaned sweet, but still enjoyable if that’s your lane. Service struck the right balance. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without interrupting the moment. They let us enjoy the food and each other. The space is a bit tight and seating is limited, but that intimacy adds to the charm. Cafe Genevieve doesn’t just serve breakfast. It delivers an experience worth returning for.
