I caught Buster Keaton's "The General" at your theater the other night and it really was a remarkable experience. I've enjoyed plenty of his films at home, but seeing them at your venue really was a "step up." It's the piano player. The live piano player. He was incredible. He seamlessly matched the mood on screen and conveyed it. He "emoted" so intensely it blended what I was seeing with what I was hearing and feeling into a truly magical experience. I am 46 and this was the best movie-going experience I've had in a long, long time. Thank you.
We were in row J. Excellent view. The seats were staggered enough and at a slight incline, so viewing was no problem. I love how quite this venue is.
Lovely theater with comfortable seating and great sound. Women's restrooms were a little small with a long line forming at intermission. LOTS of street parking available.
The people at the theater were great. Saw 2 concerts there. The lower seats have been upgraded and are comfy. If you are anything more than average height and weight I would suggest staying away from the balcony seats.
Always love coming to the JPT. I have a membership. The people are great, the atmosphere is terrific, and yummy snacks. I have attended comedy shows, live music, and watched movies. Each event was fun. The refreshments support local businesses. I enjoy the different local beers and toffee. The sound quality is great.
