I cannot say enough good things about Julia. Not only was she VERY flexible (we had to reschedule our original session due to COVID related issues and then we had to reschedule the time the day of our session due to weather related issues) but her photos are STUNNING! She clearly knows what she's doing and how to capture those special moments. She put a ton of effort into planning the perfect session for us and it shows in our photos. Our experience working with Julia for our wedding was nothing short of exceptional. She brings a warm, friendly, and professional presence to everything she does. Julia captured so many special moments, and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out. My family first worked with her for my sister’s wedding, and when it came time to plan ours (even as a destination wedding), she was the very first vendor we reached out to. We’re so grateful she was able to photograph our day, capturing every moment of our coastal Maine wedding with such heart.

Over the years Julia has documented all of life's big moments for us. My husband snuck her into his proposal and a year later, when we weren't able to book her for our wedding, we did a mini-session a few weeks later (because let's be honest, weddings are whirlwind days and only happen once, so why not document them to your heart's content?), and most recently, a rather full-term maternity shoot. Julia is such an incredibly kind and fun person. Her warmth, passion and skill are undeniable. It is easy to feel at ease and beautiful when you have a session with her-- even if you're 36 weeks pregnant! Her kindness and charm are disarming and allows you to be comfortable, engaged and truly happy, which shows in the final product. When she's done working her magic, we always have a ton of photos to choose from. She truly captures the joy that you feel. In addition to being making you feel good, she is also the utmost professional. She is easy to communicate with both in person and over the phone/email. She's always been on time. I really can't recommend her enough! I am incredibly grateful to have such treasured photos because of her!

We planned a destination wedding in Lake Placid from Baltimore, so we were really nervous and extra choosy when picking our vendors. Julia was 100% the perfect pick as our photographer. She is the absolute sweetest and truly goes the extra mile to make you feel special on you wedding day, and leading up to it! We received hand-written notes from Julia throughout the year leading up to our wedding. She was super communicative and answered all questions up front. My husband and I are both very shy, but Julia made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. It was actually enjoyable and fun to have all of our pictures taken! She kept up with our timeline on the day of, and though we haven't received our full gallery yet, Julia sent along a sneak peek of AMAZING photographs! What really warmed my heart was that I had Julia bring a watch to my groom as a gift. When he opened it, it was a bit too big and he thought he wouldn't be able to wear it for the ceremony. Julia's fiance, who joined to help her out the day of, took the watch and ran it to a jeweler nearby to have links taken out so he could wear it for our ceremony - that is truly, truly above and beyond! Julia's positivity and optimism shines right through to her photographs. So if you're looking to work with someone friendly, organized, and genuine, please, please work with Julia!

Julia Rebecca Photography was one of the first wedding vendors we booked for a 150+ person wedding in Saratoga in June 2024 because I came across her work on Instagram and knew she'd be able to capture my dream day beautifully. She exceeded all of our expectations. She made our nuclear and extended families comfortable in front of the camera, and the engagement session as warm up for me and the groom was THE BEST.
