My husband and I fell in love as soon as we drove through the gates. We knew we were going to get married at Lagare before we were even engaged. The grounds are beautiful & the staff amazing. Having access to the house the entire day, made for a calm setting to get ready on a crazy wedding day! The museum and hiking trails are also a must see

Legare Waring House will forever hold a piece of our hearts. From the first time we walked onto the property, we knew it was the place we wanted to start our marriage. There’s something almost magical about it, the sweeping oaks, the soft light through the branches, the sense of calm that settles over you the minute you arrive. It felt timeless, intimate, and beautifully Charleston in all the best ways. Working with Nicole made the experience even more special. She was warm, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. Every question was answered, every detail supported, and on our wedding day she ensured everything moved flawlessly behind the scenes. We truly felt cared for. Our guests were blown away. People kept telling us it was one of the most breathtaking venues they’d ever seen. And for us, it was the perfect backdrop, it felt like the setting our relationship deserved… romantic, natural, sentimental, and full of character. Standing beneath those trees saying our vows is a moment we’ll never forget. Legare Waring House wasn’t just a venue. It was a feeling, and choosing it was one of the best decisions we made.
