We knew from the very beginning of wedding planning that having Lin and Jirsa on our wedding vendor team was a must. The Lin and Jirsa team is extremely well organized and ensured that everything was addressed prior to our events. Their photographer scheduled a call with us to go over our vision to be sure that they got each and every one of the photos we wanted on the day of our events. My husband and I met in the San Francisco Bay Area and we were able to arrange Lin and Jirsa’s team to take our photos in San Francisco. We had many locations scheduled and our photographer Mike and second shooter made our engagement shoot an incredible experience. They even braved the 40mph winds near the Golden Gate Bridge! The engagement photos were absolutely incredible as we anticipated! For our wedding events, their attention to detail was exceptional. They made sure to capture all important parts of our Mehendi/Sangeet, Indian ceremony, American ceremony, and reception. On the day of our events the Lin and Jirsa team were on time and followed our timeline perfectly, even adjusting to an earlier ceremony time so that we could have more time to dance! The quality of every photo is truly phenomenal. I would choose Lin and Jirsa one thousand times over again and cannot recommend them enough. We booked Lin and Jirsa for our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula and they truly exceeded every expectation. This team is nothing short of extraordinary—professional, personable, and so talented that they made us feel like movie stars on our big day. My husband was originally pretty hesitant about splurging for photos... AND videography... with all the expenses of the wedding so I had to really push for it... but after we got them back, these photos and our wedding videos we both agree was the best money spent out of everything. Despite being based in Orange County, the Lin and Jirsa crew arrived bright and early, well before their call time, with an energy that set the tone for the day. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it felt like they were as excited about our wedding as we were! With three photographers and three videographers, they were like a well-orchestrated dream team, capturing every moment from angles we didn’t even know existed. They were everywhere, yet never intrusive, blending seamlessly into the day while ensuring not a single smile, tear, or dance move went undocumented. Prior to our wedding day they set up a time to discuss what kind of pictures we wanted them to focus on and they more than delivered. The posed portraits are breathtakingly beautiful, showcasing us at our best, while the candid shots perfectly captured the joy and love of the day—those unscripted moments we’ll treasure forever. And then there were the creative shots that left us speechless. We still find ourselves saying, “How did they even see that?” Their ability to find unique perspectives and turn fleeting moments into art is unreal. There were so many moments from my wedding that I wish could last forever, and in these captured moments, my wishes came true. Working with Lin and Jirsa felt like having friends behind the lens. They made us feel so comfortable and confident, guiding us through poses with ease and encouragement that brought out our personalities. It’s no wonder our friends and family couldn't stop raving about our photos and video! We’ve already printed a bunch to display in our home, and the album we put together is an absolute masterpiece—a keepsake we’ll cherish for a lifetime. We are so grateful to have had Lin & Jirsa as our wedding photographers - everything about them is high quality and very classy. They definitely know how to capture all the emotions, vibrancy, and organized madness at weddings, especially big Indian weddings! We had Brandon for our engagement shoot at Victoria Beach, for our first wedding event we had Nick, Rabiya, and Angel, and the wedding/reception with Justin, Nick and Rabiya! Selena was incredibly helpful in all aspects of coordination prior to and after the events. All of the photographers really just make you feel comfortable and yourself, which is what you need on your wedding day! They make sure to discuss certain shots you may want before hands so they can incorporate them into the day. Most importantly, on the day, they were so accommodating, friendly, and if they were expected to be somewhere or capture something, they were always on time doing it. We are so pleased with all the photos we got, and again, are so grateful to have had the team we did! We would highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding! Also, just a special shout out to Justin, who is such an artistic visionary, and an overall wonderful person - once he gets his mind going on a shot, he will work so hard to make sure its perfect, and it is SO worth it!

Every moment that we wanted was captured perfectly. And not just the obvious ones—the little looks, the laughs, the emotions we didn’t even realize were happening at the time. When we got the gallery back, we were floored. The photos looked like they were straight out of Vogue. The lighting, the colors, the composition… just stunning. We legit couldn’t stop scrolling. They also made the whole experience super smooth. From wrangling our families (which is no small task) to making our camera-shy friends feel comfortable, they handled it all with so much grace and professionalism. But never pushy. Just calm, kind, and totally in control. The video we received was also incredible. Beautiful, emotional, and perfectly edited. It was so special sharing it with friends and family who couldn’t make it. If you’re getting married in LA (or anywhere, really) and want a team that will truly deliver, go with Lin and Jirsa. We’re so glad we did.

Our family recently had a photoshoot with Lin and Jirsa/Line and Roots in Orange County, California and we couldn't be happier. Shortly after booking we received detailed instructions for the shoot along with what to bring and what to be prepared for. This was incredibly helpful and made us feel confident and ready for the day. On the day of the shoot, we met our photographer and their assistant and both were warm and welcoming. They took the time to get to know us, ensuring that our kids felt comfortable. Given that we were in a public setting, we anticipated some unpredictability, especially with children involved. However, our photographer and assistant handled every situation with ease, making the entire experience smooth and stress free. Within days, we received our proofs and we're thrilled with the results. We've worked with other studios in the past, but Lin and Jirsa truly exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning to them for future sessions.
