Choosing a wedding venue is about trust. Based on how Makers House Weddings presents itself, I believed I was selecting a polished, well-run venue that understood the significance of such an important day. That trust was misplaced. Throughout the process, basic expectations around communication and follow-through were repeatedly missed. When problems came up, they were met with deflection rather than solutions, leaving us to manage stress that should never fall on a couple planning their wedding. The level of organization and care promised upfront did not carry through in practice. What’s most disappointing is that many of these situations could have been avoided with clearer communication and a willingness to take responsibility. A wedding isn’t a routine booking — it’s a milestone moment. When couples are paying premium rates, they reasonably expect clarity, responsiveness, and support. Instead, we often felt sidelined when raising valid concerns. A luxury label means very little if concerns are minimized rather than addressed. At this level of investment, couples deserve consistency, accountability, and a team that actively works to protect the experience they are selling.

Have hired and worked with Makers House for over 3-4 years now, exemplary attention to detail & especially super attentive to his clients, has been outstanding to see the level of events and weddings they do.
