Word of Mouth Catering is an Austin classic for a reason. My parents used them for their wedding about 30 years ago and always talked about how special the experience was and how excited they were to have WoM cater their event. It’s pretty incredible that their reputation is still just as strong and valid today. I now use Word of Mouth for events I host at work, big and small, and they never disappoint. Julian and his team are fantastic to work with. They’re flexible with budget, easy to coordinate with, and can work with any venue or set up preference we have. The staff is always friendly, professional, and always early. They’re also incredibly personable with guests, which makes the whole event feel relaxed and taken care of. I will continue to use them as long as I am hosting events.
Ordering was a breeze, catering was delivered on time and in extremely nice looking disposables, we did not need to re-plate anything except for the hot food. Quality of everything was top notch. Will definitely be using their services again.
Julian at Word of Mouth was fantastic! Responsive, timely, helpful and just all around a 10/10 experience from planning to the execution of our dinner. We got the "jarcuteries" for my boyfriend's 30th birthday as well as the roasted chicken dinner.
Word of Mouth has an AMAZING team! John and Sandra were fantastic people to work with. They are kind, attentive, and hardworking. The same goes for the rest of their team. Everyone showed up on time, they all looked very nice in their button-ups and gave great service to our high-end clientele. They were respectful of our space, and even helped our bar staff clean up at the end of the night. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could! We can't wait to have them back.
We worked with them on a recent large scale production and could not have had a better experience. They handled several curve balls to the plan incredibly well and with a lot of kindness. Serving dinner for 300+ guests is no small task and everything came out beautifully presented, delicious, and with impeccable service. My team and I could not recommend them enough!
