Omaha Design Center

Went to the Omaha Design Center for the Melanin Market Omaha and it was stunning 🤩 The decor and the photo opt worthy spaces!!! Definitely a place to take a couple pictures if you have a few minutes to spare. I was there to work, so unfortunately, I couldn't get all the selfies I desired to take because there are so many different places to take pictures. There was a mirror hallway with chairs. A piano. Couches. A wine and book nook. A grass wall and so much more!! The parking lot was fairly small but I was told there was a parking lot behind the building and across the street that we were able to utilize. It is on Cummings Street in the downtown area so be cautious if walking across the street. Because I was there to sell Crystal Gems Omaha products, the lighting wasn't ideal in the smaller event space. It was chandelier lights with some string light as well, which were absolutely beautiful, but did not really illuminate the space as well as I would have hoped to display the products. They had a sound system throughout the space, even though the Melanin Market may have provided their own sound system. The venue is very spacious and the sounds traveled well throughout. In the main event space, there were drapes and beautiful lighting cascading down the drapes. It was very spacious and could house numerous vendors. There were 2 bars available but only one was open during the event but there was no line and the drinks were made well. The bathroom was clean with multiple stalls. It was a little funky every time I went in, so some type of air freshener would have been appreciated. Overall, it was a beautiful space to host a large event, a wedding, reception or a larger more intimate event. If it's open to the public a great place to grab a drink and take some really cute selfies or small group pictures.

Omaha design center was the best!! We worked with Katelyn and she was amazing. She was always on top of it and finding ways to make this day perfect for us. The space is beautiful and allows you to be creative. The staff were amazing. Before the reception, there were some rearranging to be made and everyone was helping and so friendly. We received so many compliments from our family and friends about the staff and the space! I highly recommend Omaha Design center to use as your venue. It was perfection!

This place is absolutely beautiful. There are older parts to the facility that are decorated so neatly. I went there for the Omaha's 40/40 award. The set up was wonderful!

ODC is a classy looking venue. I attended a holiday party and it was amazing. From the valet parking, coat check, bartenders and security everyone was kind and helpful. My only small complaint would be the food. I do understand portion size but these portions were for a toddler. Every one at our table was shocked at the portion size but other tables around us had normal portions. Other than that small complaint, Omaha Design Center is great place.

Omaha Design Center is a beautiful place! My wife and I got married on 7.30.22 and had our reception at the ODC. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the service we received! Katie was amazing to work with and made sure the night was perfect. Prior to the day we met with Katie and she went through everything with us to make sure we were prepared and didn’t have to stress the day of. The staff did a great job making sure all our guests were having fun. The ODC is very elegant and perfect for the all white theme we planned. Here are some pictures to show how wonderful it was!
