We hired Peter for our June 2026 wedding. His photographs were spectacular. His communication was one of the best out of all of the vendors we had hired. We had multiple meetings prior to our wedding, and he helped us plan the initial timeline for the entire night. He was very receptive to what we wanted photographed and what we wanted to minimize time spent on. We didn’t do a first look, and he got us through all of our formals with plenty of time for us to spend at cocktail hour after. We had Peter under contract for our wedding in May 2026, and our experience was extremely disappointing. Peter was very communicative and responsive when we were booking, but once the contract was signed he became very difficult to reach and increasingly frustrating to work with. He was responsible for scheduling a planning meeting and failed to do so. When we followed up, our emails, calls, and texts went unanswered for more than a week. We had to tell him we were considering other options before he finally responded. Even then, we did not feel that he took accountability for the communication issues that had occurred. We ultimately terminated our contract because we lost confidence in his ability to communicate consistently and professionally. Looking back, it was absolutely the right decision for us. Communication and reliability are among the most important qualities we look for in wedding vendors, and based on our experience, Peter failed to meet even basic expectations in those areas. If communication, responsiveness, and proactive planning are important to you, we would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Coming from out of state and not knowing any local photographers in Maine I was a little worrisome when trying to pick who would do mine and my husbands first anniversary photo shoot. Then I came across Peter. He was efficient, cost effective and when looking at his work that I had seen online he seemed to be pretty good. HOWEVER, when the day of the photo shoot came I was more than thrilled. Peter was super cool, easy to work with, and definitely made me and my husband feel comfortable. He took us to the best places in and around Bar Harbor & Acadia, giving us more than enough amazing photos to have forever. The photos speak for themselves and we are beyond thrilled with the outcome. HIGHLY recommend Peter for anything you may need.

We cannot recommend Peter Greeno highly enough. Given my background in the visual arts I knew exactly what I wanted in a photographer and did extensive research. These are images that will last a lifetime and we needed someone who was creative, professional, and flexible in equal measure. Peter was all of this and more. He walked us through the entire process step-by-step -- and was fundamental in helping us refine our own timeline for the day. He was an engaged and thoughtful partner throughout; meticulous in the preparation phase. Nor did he disappoint in person. Not only did he show up early on the day but he was quick to make adjustments based on location, light, and temperament. He was full of great suggestions but never pushy and always defaulted to our preferences. He communicated quickly and effectively but did not waste words. Beyond the beauty of our formal photos (which were, of course, very beautiful) he managed to capture the spontaneous moments and, most importantly to us, the FEELING of the day. When I look at his images now I am transported back to the happiest moment of my life. Peter Greeno gave us exactly what we wanted from a photographer for our wedding - A genuine reflection of our special day Rather than cheesy staged photos we got authentic moments captured beautifully and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
