Poe & Co catered our wedding, and they exceeded every expectation. From the start, Jayson and Jamie embraced our vision: a dinner reception on a bluff with no power, no water, and nowhere to hide a kitchen. Jamie personally helped us determine the layout and design a kitchen setup that stayed discreet while keeping dinner service completely seamless. Throughout the process, they were responsive, clear in their communication, and great at setting expectations. Their experience really showed; Jamie was patient and thorough, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks, even helping keep our planner on top of what was needed. The menu was built entirely around our preferences. We told them food was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and it truly felt like Jamie didn’t want to let us down. She took notes throughout the process, jotting down every request and our reactions to each dish. As we worked through adjustments we wanted to make, both Jayson and Jamie offered thoughtful recommendations until we landed on something we were genuinely excited about. Their commitment to high-quality, local, and seasonal ingredients was especially important to us, and it showed in every dish. Our guests raved and so many told us it was the best wedding dinner they’d ever had, and some even took leftovers home! The staff was fantastic too — fun, attentive, and professional. Poe and Co. catered our wedding in October 2025, and they were phenomenal. When we were choosing vendors, having great food was my top priority, I wanted guests to feel like they were being treated to a genuinely great meal out, not typical buffet-style wedding food. Poe and Co. delivered that and more, exceeding our expectations! The tasting a few months out was a highlight in itself. I couldn't attend, and it was only supposed to be for two people, however Poe and Co graciously allowed my wife, her sister, and both of our moms to participate and they raved about the afternoon. On the wedding day, everything was fantastically executed - every appetizer was a hit, and the main courses were the best wedding food I've ever had. And it wasn't just us who felt this way. The single most common piece of feedback from our guests after the wedding was how incredible the food was, and at least two guests have since reached out to us about who we used and then recommended Poe and Co. to others. Yes, their costs were on the higher end compared to other caterers we considered, but the quality and farm-to-table difference made it money well spent. We'd recommend them to anyone, and clearly our guests agree.

We hired Poe & Co for our welcome party on Thursday night before our wedding, and everything was absolutely perfect. Jayson, the chef, was incredible, everything was timely, beautifully presented, and delicious. He even shucked fresh oysters for us, which our guests loved. The food was so fresh and flavorful, the drinks were outstanding, and the desserts were to die for (the apple pie crumble is a must-try!). The server who assisted was also wonderful, attentive, sweet, and really helped make the evening flow seamlessly. Our immediate family and guests had such a memorable night, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
