Amazing experience with Carefree Events! Heather, Sydney and their team planned and executed the most beautiful 3-day wedding weekend for our daughter and now son-in-law. The venue was complex as everything was "a la carte" and so having a strong wedding planner was critical. Heather worked tirelessly over a 15-month planning period providing us with excellent choices and creative ideas with flexibility and professionalism that enabled our daughter to attain her unique vision for her wedding. I loved how Heather pinged us every couple weeks to make a discrete decision that provided the building blocks for an incredible weekend. We never felt overwhelmed with the decisions and understood how each individual choice worked to fit into the overall theme and look we were seeking. Finally, we were most impressed at the detailed hands-on approach Heather and Sydney had during the weekend of the wedding, and we were all able to enjoy the events fully without a single worry! From the early planning days, where they offered support in vendor selection & overall vibes/design strategy. Heather and Sydney with Carefree Events exceeded all of our expectations and made planning our wedding/rehearsal dinner so easy and fun! We worked with them for more than a year in preparation for our celebration this August 2026, and I cannot recommend this team enough! Their organization, recommendations, and communication led to every detail working out seamlessly! We had the most special weekend and I credit much of that to this amazing team! Planning a wedding can be stressful for some, but I can truly say that they made each step enjoyable, and I would recommend them to anyone who is having an event in Montana! Heather and Sydney are absolutely incredible wedding planners, truly 5 stars isn’t enough! From start to finish, they were professional, supportive, and such a joy to work with. I interviewed multiple wedding planners and from day 1 Heather stood out to me with her eagerness to get to know me and my husband vs "put on an event" and amazingly type A personality! On the wedding day itself, we had a little bit of rain and Heather immediately jumped into action. She knew I was nervous because of our space capacity, but she seamlessly pivoted to our backup plan for the outdoor tables and kept everything running smoothly. Thankfully the skies cleared and the rest of the evening went off perfectly, thanks to her calm and steady presence. I truly didn't even notice she did it so flawlessly! Heather went above and beyond in every way, even during photos when my husband realized a button had popped off his tux, she pulled out a sewing kit and fixed it on the spot! That moment alone shows just how prepared, thoughtful, and dedicated she is. If you’re looking for a team who will make sure your day is stress-free, beautiful, and perfectly managed to a tee, Heather and Sydney are it. 10/10 recommend!

I don’t think we can enough stars for how helpful Heather and her team were for our wedding weekend! If I wrote about every great moment with them it would be a chapter book! Let me start off by saying we just had our destination (to us ) wedding on 9/20/25 and we used carefree events! The weekend was a real life dream come true. We hired Heather and her team just over a year before our big day! She was always punctual with zooms meetings and phone calls despite the time difference. She always made it work whenever we had the time! Heather was a breeze to work with and listened to every concern! She planned a whole mock digital table design with all 2,000,000 pins I threw at her, and when I realized I no longer wanted “traditional Montana” wedding she had a new digital proof with in 24 hours!! She met us at our venue 6 months before the big day to do our tasting with us ,and Sydney met us to do our cake tasting a few days later. Her and her team truly helped us each step of the way! I understand this all might be a normal expectation when hiring a planner but what’s different is carefree events took the time to learn us as individuals. EVERY vendor Heather recommended was EXACTLY our style. She booked our engagement shoot and makeup team for the shoot , she delivered wine , cakes , glasses and food to the flower farm the day before the welcome party , she allowed us to fill her garage with Amazon boxes so we didn’t have to fly with them, she planned our welcome party (when asked last minute) and also drove a golf cart till it died to help get flowers to our rehearsal dinner (she wasn’t paid for this but did this to ensure our weekend was perfect ) we asked for wagon rides to rehearsal, a hat bar , a grizzly bear fur , horse with a flag , saddle stools , custom bar , cigar bar , and beer burros ! She made ALL of this happen! Not to mention she found the most perfect detail for our tablescape a hand etched leather bow for every guest! I can admit that I’m a control freak and Heather earned my trust to allow me to be surprised for the final tablescape and floral look! It was above and beyond what I imagined! It was the prettiest Montana Chic wedding I ever seen! We are almost 2 weeks after our wedding and people are still commenting about how amazing our weekend was! This was due to Heather caring about our day like it was her own!! I couldn’t be more thankful for her and I definitely recommend her as a planner for any event! She’s top notch ! Let her surprise you .. I promise you won’t regret it! I added our non professional pics!
