Spike

We hired Spike to bartend for our wedding at Lagare. We bought & provided the alcohol along with recipes for our specialty cocktails & 2 special liquors to be served to the bride & groom only. Our issues with their services started when they forgot one of the mixers & my brother had to run out the day of to grab it. Second, they mixed the recipes wrong, putting bourbon in a whiskey drink & Jameson in a bourbon drink, after they assured us they could do our specialty drinks. Finally, they were handing out the special bride & groom liquor to everyone. The female bartender even told one of our friends that they shouldn’t be telling her they had it, before offering it to her. A short time later, one of the groomsmen saw the bottle was 1/2 gone & told the same bartender to put it away as it was the grooms special liquor, she failed to do so. By the time my husband was able to make it up to the bar, there was only enough for 1 drink left, of the special, expensive, bottle, we purchased for him.

We used Spike for our wedding at the aquarium this past weekend and let me tell you they were AMAZING! We booked them for our full open bar service about six months in advance. From initial contact up until the wedding day, Brad was great. He always got back to us in a timely manor and answered any questions we had with ease. On the day of the event Spike was set up and ready to go right on time. They had pre poured beer, wine, and champagne ready for guests to grab and go before they even opened up the open bar. Once they were open guests stated showing up to the bar immediately and the bartenders handed it with ease. The drinks they were making were all very good no matter the request. We had eighty guests and two bar tenders which was the perfect amount and kept things flowing efficiently with no wait times. Overall a great company and a great experience for a reasonable price.

We hired Spike Bar for our wedding day and this was the best decision we made! Brad quickly and efficiently answered every email, and handled every request I had with ease. Our bartender on the day of was so kind and professional. She made sure to keep everyone's glasses full and was so kind to each and every guest. Spike Bar was the smoothest part of our wedding day! I would recommend them to any and everyone that asks!!

Spike set up an awesome Bourbon/Cigar bar with piece's my family's crystal, it was exactly what I had envisioned! They are so responsive, professional, and flexible.
