Sugarbush Resort

Sugarbush Mountain Ski Resort was a pleasant surprise. The trails are wide and well-groomed, with great options for both beginners and experienced skiers. A special highlight is the stunning scenery, especially on sunny days. An excellent place for a winter getaway.

I visited on a weekend after a recent snowstorm, so I was concerned about crowds but it wasn’t bad at all. I even found parking in one of the closer lots! The base area is lively and welcoming, with clean restrooms, music and numerous food options. Great snow conditions, with only a few icy spots here and there and the lifts are surprisingly comfy compared to what I’ve experienced elsewhere. Highly recommended!

Visited for a friends wedding in the summer. Stunning views with lots of great amenities. Visited on 4th of July weekend and the resort had lots of activities including games, food stalls, axe throwing & free rides up the ski lift

We try and stay every year with my family in both winter and summer months. I wish we could bottle the fresh Vermont air and take home. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is great and always spotless . The suites at the Claybrook are amazing and they have everything you could need. A heated year round pool with 2 outdoor hot tubs for the guests only are the bonus. “ ready go ski “ is a dream. There is a huge separate SHARC location if you have family with kids that do not go on the slopes. The Sugerbush grooming team always provides excellent snow coverage and you have miles of natural trails for beginner to advanced fun exploring! They have good variety of local restaurants as the are all fresh meals. Every single staff member we encountered was kind and courteous, the crew at the rental shop are always helpful when needed. My advice, take 10 minutes to walk around , sit and take in the natural views for serenity . Cheers👊

I took a beginner–advanced ski group lesson at Sugarbush after not skiing for six years, and it was an amazing experience. My instructor, Laura C., was incredibly patient and clear in explaining how body weight, balance, and foot control affect turns. Thanks to her guidance, I confidently skied blue trails from the Bravo Express and even tackled Lower Pushover and Jester by the end of the day. She truly made my day — highly recommend her class!
