The Wild Orchid Florist and Flower Shop

My boyfriend ordered flowers from The Wild Orchid for Valentine’s Day. The delivery arrived a day early, the flowers were not fresh, and the arrangement was noticeably lopsided. We also paid for chocolates, which were not delivered with the arrangement. Within two days, the bouquet was already drooping and wilting, which is disappointing for a premium-priced arrangement meant for a special occasion. When we reached out about the issues, the owner was not accommodating and did not take accountability for the problems with the order. Overall, the quality of the product and the customer service did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this florist for important or time-sensitive occasions.

I couldn’t respond to the review so I just took a screenshot of the review. I was rather surprised when my boss informed me that this particular Customer called and customer was not happy with the flowers received. The flowers were gorgeous And after I delivered the arrangement and got in my car to leave I was feeling particularly proud to have delivered such a beautiful arrangement and have such a happy recipient. To be honest, I wouldn’t deliver the flowers if they were not in great condition if they were not fresh. This isn’t the first time that somebody has falsely claimed that their arrangement was not up to par wanting a refund. And I’m sure it won’t be the last. I guess some people just don’t feel like their loved one is worthy of the money they spent so they try to swindle the money back with a false claim. The flowers were gorgeous and that Customers Loved One was happy with them.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review but I couldn’t move past it. I saw a review about fraud from someone else so that explains why I had to Venmo to pay for the flowers I ordered. I chose this place because of how close they were to my girlfriend’s job, and thought I’d give them a shot. I told them they could choose the arrangement because I wasn’t picky and it was “Just because” and I was okay with any bouquet as long as they were nice looking flowers. I said bouquet, maybe I’m not educated enough on flowers but to me this was not a bouquet. I spent $90 to have them bring what to me looks like a house plant. Eventually they are supposed to be some kind of flowers, and I was totally embarrassed. It’s the middle of the winter, I wanted her to have something nice at her office to look at that week, and it was my first time sending her anything. Pretty disappointing. I went with somewhere else for Valentine’s Day and had a much better experience. I added a picture of what she received for full transparency.

This lady was an absolute gem! Didn’t want to travel bc of the wind conditions. And not only did she find a way for me to pay she went a got a pie for me and made me a bouquet of roses all that she delivered to my mil at work! She’s amazing and I’ll be recommending her and using her for all my flower needs from now on! 💕
