Town and Country San Diego

We stayed 4 nights in the Palm Tower. Maybe this building is an older building? The tower itself didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel, it felt more like a motel. The floors were dirty and sticky feeling, the AC was loud, there was no “privacy” sign for the door for us, but I saw it on other doors. Our smoke alarm started going off one night and took multiple calls to fix. Housekeeping left their cleaning bottle in our room one of the days. And they don’t have vacuums - only brooms for cleaning. We tried in-room dining via online order but the website checkout only worked our first day. I wasn’t able to use it for the rest of the days because the website kept giving errors. This was a bit inconvenient. The lobby, market, arlo restaurant felt more like the 4 star hotel vibe. Prices are resort prices though. For a family of four, we spent almost $200 for dinner at Arlo after tip. Grabbing some breakfast, drinks and snacks at the Market for one day was $70. The kids enjoyed the heated pool. The main pool had a max depth was 3’6” which was perfect for my young kids. The kiddie pool is only 1’ deep, more for babies. We spent most of our evenings at the pool. There’s even s’mores kits you can buy at the Market to roast marshmallows at the fire pits in the evening. The walk to the train and the mall was easy from Palm tower. We took the train to downtown San Diego. And some nights we would walk to the mall for meals (Neiman Marcus cafe, California pizza kitchen, etc). I would be cautious in the evening though as some of the homeless people roam in that area under the train tracks.

This is our first time staying here, we did a resort pass last year and decided to stay here this year for our annual comicon trip because of the pool. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a two queen marco polo room so we loved that our room was right next to the pool and easy access from the lobby. The room is pretty roomy, we love the open layout and it has 2 sinks which is awesome. I just have a few suggestions. It would be nice to have more hooks in the room to hang towels. We are not able to access any streaming apps from the tv like netflix, that's a bummer. I also wish that the property had a self service laundry room, I went to a local laundromat that I found online. Not the hotel's fault but people are parking in the EV stalls that are not EVs so that is annoying too. Other than that, we love the vibe here, it's so fun!

Town and Country Resort has such an amazing vintage vibe mixed with modern amenities. It honestly felt like relaxing inside a 1950’s soda pop diner, but with all the comforts and upgrades of 2026. Such a cool feeling and atmosphere throughout the entire property. The pools were really nice and warm, the hot tub was large and relaxing, and the slide was incredible. The staff was very helpful, attentive, and always friendly anytime we needed something. We were there for a dance and theater competition, and one of the best parts was how many places there were to relax and hang out. Tons of lounging areas, comfortable seating, fun games, and great spaces to just unwind between events. Overall, it was an awesome experience and a place we would definitely come back to.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel while celebrating my son’s high school graduation, and we had a wonderful experience. The room exceeded our expectations—it was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable. The customer service staff was excellent throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the private patio outside our room with its own fire pit, which made our time together even more memorable. A special thank you to Deion Stratton, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to my family, and his exceptional service truly enhanced our vacation. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be returning this summer!

First time at this resort and let’s start with the beginning. Front desk was so personable kind and friendly. We got our room right away and got a beautifully remodeled room. Great location and easy access to everything on the grounds. Pool area is beautiful and the food was amazing. Service by the pool was so quick and easy to order. I read many of these reviews and frankly you people have way too much ridiculous complaints that are so childish. This place is amazing and I will definitely be coming back here.
