White Pepper

The White Pepper team came recommended to us by our wedding planners and we are so glad we had the chance to work with them. From our first tasting to our wedding day, everything was executed perfectly and tasted so good. So many guests at our wedding raved about how good the food was, many saying it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding. Suykym was so easy to work/coordinate with and all of the staff at our wedding were kind, helpful, and professional. I cannot say enough good things about the White Pepper team and their excellent service!

We had White Pepper cater our wedding that was in July. The team was amazing, so professional and great communication. They were also so helpful with menu creation and accommodating when we asked for multiple tastings. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was at our wedding. We couldn’t recommend them more!!

White Pepper was absolutely incredible as our wedding caterer! From the start, they were the most responsive team on our venue’s preferred list. They made planning so easy — clearly outlining what would be in season and sending a detailed but simple survey to help us build our dream menu. The tasting was such a fun experience, and they worked with us on a few final tweaks before the big day. We loved the final menu — highlights included the salmon, Alabama barbecue chicken, rhubarb puffs, and steak crostinis — all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They also helped us stock the bar and served up amazing cocktails with top-notch service all night. We’re still hearing from guests about how delicious the food was. Huge thanks for making our wedding so memorable!

THIS IS A VERY EMOTIONAL REVIEW TO MAKE. I don't want to write it, because im scared I'll never find an open seat ever again, and words is gonna travel, but whatever, I'll be the first to say it before Guy Fierri shows up and sails my ship of credit. But I found the best Gawd Damn Burger Ive ever had. It checks all the boxes. Bun with Sesame seeds, Shredded lettuce, melted Cheese, just look at that there photo, look at the melts, gander at the shreads, gaze at the litte sesame stars of the Burger planet. That delicious beef patty tucked away in the warm cheese blanket. Complaint on the French Fries, I burned my mouth, cause I have no patience and they were hot, I was at fault. I inhaled the Burger and fries, like clean plate style. I even ate the fry that fell on the counter. After that, I felt the need to take another menu item to the face, to see if other things were just as good. Okay, I am not a dessert person, cause im usually full. Well, I got the apple cobbler and it made me wanna talk and listen to strangers, like when I got cake as a kid and would get that endorphin hit of serotonin. Like a good mood snack. I freaking dusted that dessert. It was so freaking good. Oh man, and the Shirley Temples!!! Best I've ever had. None of those peasent cherries, and only the finest of sodas. I had my pinky out, feeling rich! Holy Crap especially after I got my TAB!! I thought he forgot everything i ordered, nope, $23 dollars people. Burgers, Fries, & Apple pies, thats what Portland does! I'll say all the normal guide stuff as well, but dayum, that food. If you go, don't freaking tell everyone, hold it close to your heart. Have it as your secret to take special people. I love that they open once a week for a couple hours to serve the neighborhood, these exclusive, one day a week Burgers. I dont have weight issues, but if these were available everyday, dang. Oh man, and cobbler! Have me spending my rent on it. Anyways, thats between me and that succulent apple treat, house made Carmel, Whaaaaaaat, are you flirting with me? They weren't. But yeah, the normal stuff. Very clean, calm, welcoming, like a living room. Good place to gather. Bar had a great selection, staff were all awesome. I just really like the all around vibe. It doesn't need all the other crap every where. Feed me that cobbler in a porter potty and im happy. Parking was good, nice chill music. So people, Thursday evening dinners, be there, or be square bear, I dont care, I staaaarrrrre -Secret DinDin Society Out!!
