Selecting Z&G as my caterer was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! From the beginning, the team was super responsive and took the time to understand my vision and in turn, let me know what was feasible. Their food is phenomenal, so many of my guests let me know how much they enjoyed it. One of my more particular friends said it was the most he has ever eaten at a wedding because the food was that good! They really do a great job of towing the line between approachable & creative--which was great for my guest mixture of foodies & more basic palettes. Lisa is/was my personal savior, and I don't know how I would've made it through so many different points of the planning process without her guidance. I honestly can't recommend the Z&G team enough--they are truly much more than a catering team!

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our experience hiring Zeffert & Gold for our September 2025 wedding. As a wedding photographer myself, I had very high standards for the vendors I chose for my own wedding, and Zeffert & Gold exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was delicious, the menu options were incredible, the service was timely and efficient, and the staff was friendly and truly went above and beyond. Our wedding day was logistically challenging, as it took place at a private residence under a tent in a field and was spread out across a large property, with cocktail hour in a completely different location. Despite this, their team executed everything seamlessly and delivered a true five-star, black-tie dining experience in the middle of a field. AMAZING FOOD AND AMAZING EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH!!! We used Zeffert & Gold Catering for our corporate event in Baltimore. I cannot even explain how awesome the food was and the variety of options available. We did a huge crab feast with additional food options that met everyone’s tastebuds. It was delicious and we were given great recommendations of what to select. The staff members were super attentive to serving our guests and clearing plates. It was seamless. In addition, the planning process was a breeze working with Matt. His knowledge and suggestions were based off of years of experience which is always super helpful. I’d absolutely recommend them!!!!!

From our very first conversations through the day of the event, Matt was incredibly communicative, responsive, and easy to work with. He made the entire planning process feel seamless, and we always felt confident that every detail was being handled with care. The food was absolutely delicious, and we heard so many compliments from our guests throughout the evening about how amazing everything tasted. The grazing table was a true showstopper—beautifully displayed and filled with an incredible variety that everyone loved. The bartenders were friendly, accommodating, and brought such a fun energy to the celebration, while the servers were attentive, professional, and always one step ahead of our guests' needs. Everything came together perfectly, and the catering played a huge role in making the day so memorable. We are so grateful to Matt and his entire team for helping create such an outstanding event. We recently worked with Zeffert and Gold to cater two of our wedding events in August 2024. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to help us plan everything seamlessly. The food was absolutely outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Equally impressive was the level of service. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our events perfect. Their attention to detail and ability to anticipate our needs made the entire experience stress-free. We went with the BYOB option and bartenders were great. They prepared the signature drinks ahead of time and there was never a long line for a drink. If you’re looking for a catering company that combines exceptional food with top-notch service, Zeffert and Gold is the way to go. They truly helped make our wedding celebrations unforgettable!
