1801 First Luxury Inn

Loved our stay in the garden room. Breakfast and nightly wine and appetizers were delicious. Great location. Staff was very welcoming. We will be back. Recommend Porters, v satturi, and Castello de amore

This was our very first stay at a bed and breakfast, and 1801 First couldn’t have given us a better introduction. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering great tips on what to do, where to taste, and all the local must-sees. The location is perfect—just a short 5-minute stroll into downtown Napa and about a $30 Uber ride to St. Helena. The food was honestly a highlight. Freshly baked pastries every morning and a rotating selection of breakfast dishes that were all outstanding. The French toast especially was unforgettable. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind after a full day of wine tasting. We actually planned to go back out on our second night but ended up getting way too cozy in our little garden cottage and fell asleep instead! We’ll absolutely be returning. 1801 First is a gem.

We have really enjoyed our stay! The staff is very professional, attentive and kind. Breakfast was delicious and they've taken great care of us from morning through bed time. Good location for walking neighborhoods and to downtown.

Location and service was amazing. Waking up in the mornings to the smell of fresh breakfast was one of my favorite parts. Laura was so fun and welcoming. Will be coming back to visit!!

Had a lovely weekend at this B and B. Stayed in the carriage house, which had a very comfortable bed and was quite large. The welcome wine and especially the appetizers were outstanding. The scrambled eggs with breakfast are some of the best I have ever had. The location is quiet but easily walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommend!
