I love hot springs! Mark Twain also loved hot springs 🥰 Birds of a Feather 🪶… 🤓🤠♨️♨️🏔️ I also absolutely love and adore Connie who does her “hot springs ministry” here. We got there right before closing and they were packed but they managed to get us a table. Turned out great . The atmosphere was warm the music was nice The musician was talented. We were in the same room and you could still have a conversation I appreciated that. We got lucky that night getting the table without reservations and that late. Thank you 1862!

The food was great! The calamari fritte was cooked nice and tender. The spinach salad was interesting and fantastic. The potato gratin side dish was awesome. The jumbo prawns were good too. I also enjoyed the Pink Starburst cocktail. I like sweet drinks. It took us a while to try this place, but we're glad we did! The service was slow (when they weren't crowded on a Thursday at 4pm) but friendly and accurate.

I ordered the bison burger and a cheeseburger off the kids menu. The burger was cooked perfectly but not seasoned at all . Very bland. Both meals came with French fries with a ton of pepper. I don't mind it but how many little kids want pepper on their French fries? I said something to the waitress and she immediately had fresh ones made without the pepper.

Had the Thanksgiving Day buffet today. Not many selections. Had the regulars for Thanksgiving, but honestly the best thing was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Carving station attendee seemed nervous and meat thickness was all over the place. Some desserts dry while others were okay. Definitely more of a $40 buffet rather than $70.
