Barr Mansion

From the moment we toured Barr Mansion, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We had a beautiful June wedding there, and we absolutely fell in love with the venue's timeless elegance, vintage charm, and stunning grounds. One of the things that really sets Barr Mansion apart is everything they have to offer. Having an on-site kitchen and bar made planning so much easier since we didn't have to coordinate outside catering. The food was incredible, the drinks were fantastic, and our guests are still complimenting both! Every interaction we had with the staff was wonderful. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They answered our questions thoughtfully and promptly throughout the planning process, which gave us so much confidence leading up to the wedding. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The landscaping is impeccably maintained and provides the perfect backdrop for photos at every turn. The bridal suite had beautiful natural lighting, which made getting ready such an enjoyable experience (and made for gorgeous photos!). One of our favorite moments of the day was having our first touch on the wraparound porch—it was the perfect private space before the ceremony and is a memory we'll always cherish. Every detail at Barr Mansion is so thoughtfully designed, and it shows. If you're looking for a venue that combines historic charm, exceptional service, amazing food, and gorgeous scenery, we cannot recommend Barr Mansion highly enough. It truly exceeded every expectation and gave us the wedding day we had always dreamed of.

Barr Mansion is one of the most beautiful venues in town. The mansion itself is a lovely Victorian, meticulously restored. The Ballroom is a gorgeous open venue perfect for dancing or any kind of party. The food is always terrific. The gardens are superb, offering dozens of spots for beautiful photos. Every angle is pretty Bonus: Everything is totally organic! That means you can eat that (organic artisan) cracker you dropped in the grass, and your kids can play without fear of being poisoned by herbicides. I love having the chance to go to the Barr.

Barr Mansion was the first wedding venue we toured and I instantly fell in love! The property is breathtaking and was everything I envisioned for my fairytale wedding. Zach, the venue manager, was fantastic to work with. He was very professional, helpful, and responsive.The food and drinks were a 10/10! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was! We truly could not have picked a more perfect venue!

We cannot say enough about our experience at Barr Mansion. Upon seeing the venue, it was obvious that the grounds itself would be a stunning and welcoming place for us and our guests on our wedding day. However, we didn’t realize how much it would also serve as a safe and welcoming space for us throughout the wedding planning process. Working with Zach was such a pleasure, and he made the process so seamless and enjoyable for us. He was patient, responsive, and conscious about personalizing our experience in the months leading up to our wedding and on the day of. He was very detailed in all of our meetings and made sure that we were confident in the decisions we were making; he gave us space to ask questions and to also change our minds later on, which took off a lot of pressure to make the “correct” decision right when he asked us. The process can be very overwhelming, but having Zach as a guide was the biggest gift! Hannah also played a huge role in being a familiar face to us at open houses, tastings, and miscellaneous venue events and also providing us with resources, links, and answers to any last-minute questions that would pop up, especially on the week of the wedding. These two were like our own fairy godparents. The execution of our day was so perfect, and we know it would not have been possible without the team at Barr. One thing to note is some of the costs can stack up quickly, and because a lot of their services are in-house, a lot of the fees snuck up on us. However, almost a month later, our guests are still raving about the food and drinks, the venue itself, and the memories that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful to Barr and are so appreciative to have shared such a special time in our lives with this team.

After touring 15 venues, it was an easy choice to pick Barr Mansion and we're so glad we did! The venue is unique, peaceful, private and beautiful and Zach and his team provide top-notch service. They all made the planning process easy and fun, our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more thanks to this venue and their staff! They went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and were a dream to work with, highly recommend!
