This private organic farm and lavender garden offers a little piece of beautiful nature. From the moment you step in you’re greeted by breezes and fields that shine with color during bloom season. While most of the blossoms have faded by late summer/early fall the space still holds a soft, natural beauty. The air smells faintly of lavender, birds flutter through the trees, and the whole place carries a calming energy. The lavender labyrinth is a must. It’s the largest in California, with over 900 lavender plants and a half-mile loop that feels both grounding and meditative. There are also friendly farm animals like ducks and chickens, as well as open spaces to sit and stroll. If you’re hoping to catch Bees N Blooms at its best, plan to come between mid-May and mid-July, when lavender season is in full swing. They host beautiful community events like sound baths at sunset, live jazz, food trucks, and the Lavender Bloom Fest, where guests can pick their own lavender bundles for $5. The farm also sells lavender products, plants, and honey — all local and thoughtfully made. When the garden itself is closed they still have their website open with products to purchase. The staff seemed polite. My first ever visit here, the owner kindly approached us to explain that the farm was closed for the season and asked us to return another time. She did so respectfully, which I appreciated. The only downside for me was the $15 admission fee and $20 on jazz days. While I understand it supports the farm’s upkeep, I do wish there were a discount or membership option for locals, since this is such a community-oriented space. To the beautiful people of Sonoma County and visitors abroad, I recommend visiting Bees N Blooms at least once — especially during peak season. It’s a tranquil, soothing destination that captures the heart of what makes our county so special.

Nice lavender farm. Quite relaxed and chill vibe. Great place for photos. They also have a giant chair (again great for pictures) and a swing if you just want to relax. One can quite literally smell the lavender in the air once you step inside the farm. Very pleasant. They give you a map when you enter - which is nice. Lots of bees and butterflies, sunflowers and other colorful flowers too. Some chickens and ducks - great for kids. Overall, it was worth the visit!

Most of the lavender had already faded, but the remaining blossoms and well-tended garden still offered peaceful views, especially under the bright morning light. The lack of crowds on a weekday made for a quiet, relaxed atmosphere—ideal for a meditative stroll or slow-paced exploration. That said, if you’re hoping for vibrant fields of lavender and stunning photo opportunities, it’s best to plan your visit during early to mid-summer, when the lavender is in full bloom. That’s when the garden truly comes alive in shades of purple, drawing photographers and flower lovers alike. Parking is limited, so visiting earlier in the day is advised, especially on weekends or during peak bloom. --- Final Thoughts Bees N Blooms offers a peaceful, seasonal escape just minutes from Santa Rosa. Just so lovely. It reminded me of summer days spent in the French countryside. Take the time to slow down and walk the labyrinth. The lavender lemonade is a delight as well. And of course most of all is the heavenly smell of the lavender, it stays with you even after you’ve left. What a special place.

My girlfriends and I really enjoyed this place! Admission was $15 per person and there was ample parking. There were several varieties of lavender and you can cut a sizable bunch of fresh lavender for $5. There was a shop for souvenirs. Everyone was super kind and nice. There was even complimentary water bottles and lemonade. Such a fun and pretty place to spend our Sunday morning. We highly recommend!
