We had an amazing wine tasting experience here with my wife. A special thank you to Vasilis, who was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and welcoming throughout our visit. He shared fascinating stories about the winery’s history and provided wonderful insights into the wines, making the tasting both educational and enjoyable. It felt like much more than a tasting—it was a journey through California’s winemaking heritage. We’d also like to thank the rest of the staff for their kindness and outstanding hospitality. Buena Vista is not just a beautiful winery; it’s a true historical treasure. As Sonoma’s first winery, it holds a special place in the region’s history and is a must-visit destination for anyone coming to Sonoma. Highly recommended for both wine lovers and history enthusiasts!

Ok, let me start off be saying this winery is beautiful. The wines are good and the history was very fascinating to learn about. However I will say be careful to pay attention to what they charge you at the end. After doing a tasting then walking around enjoying the grounds with a glass of wine my husband went to pay while I wandered around. After getting home from vacation and checking my bank statement we were charged $50 more than what everything should have added up to be. Wish we would have caught it at the time, but otherwise a nice visit.

This is a beautiful winery with incredible views, wines, and service. Joan was an incredible storyteller and made our experience even better. She made sure we had a beautiful charcuterie & had incredible suggestions. We did one of each wine tasting to find what we liked. Make sure to end with the chocolates, it was a surprising ending we didn’t know we needed. Thanks for the memorable and wonderful experience, Joan!

We did the Bubble Lounge tasting. It's a very beautiful property with lots of history. We enjoyed our tasting and exploring the caves. The chocolatier is very gifted and we enjoyed taking some to go after our tasting. The staff was very helpful in taking us back to our car in a golf cart.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff The grounds and caves are beautiful. You can walk around with your glass and tour on your own. Highly recommend Buena Vista Winery. I was lucky to be in a Napa during unseasonably warm weather so it was perfect.
