Capulet

We booked Capulet for our destination wedding reception & it was the perfect venue. Our ceremony was held at Marigny, so Capulet was the perfect distance for a second line. Everything was beautiful. Steve & his staff were so great to work with, from start to finish — always responsive, friendly, professional, and accommodating. They made sure that everything we asked for was executed flawlessly. Most of what made our experience so great was the attention to detail, the simple gestures— for example, our his & her signature drinks being handed to us as soon as we entered the venue after the second line. During planning, I asked Steve if it was possible to do an espresso martini tower & he made it happen for us. We had a cigar bar set up, so the rooftop was a nice touch (especially for guests who wanted a quieter vibe). We’re forever grateful to Capulet for making our day so special.

We recently got married on May 8th, 2026 and I cannot say enough about our experience. First off, Steve is amazing at communicating and he gets things done right off the bat. The staff at Capulet is great, as well. I knew I wanted our wedding at Capulet and didn’t even bother to tour any other venue and I am so happy we did. The building itself is absolutely stunning and you can’t beat having a mezzanine AND a rooftop all in one venue. Of course having a wedding in New Orleans comes with challenges…especially in the spring. Rain quickly became an issue and the day before our wedding we had to rent a tent last minute for the rooftop. Steve worked with us in getting this done in a timely fashion and our guests continue to talk about how nice it was upstairs. While the rooftop cocktail hour was a hit, so was the food! So many of our friends and family raved about the items we had on our menu and even though my husband and I only ate a tiny bit…I can certainly say EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. Our signature drinks which were a French 75 and Old Fashioned were so good, too. Our guests couldn’t get enough! All in all, 10/10 experience and I wish we could relive our night all over again. It truly was more magical than I ever envisioned. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with the most gorgeous architecture, look no further…you have found THE place and I have no doubt you’ll enjoy your experience just as we did. This venue is absolutely gorgeous. It truly fit our style and our guests said the food was phenomenal! Our planning process was a bit rocky and had us nervous because communication was not great. We often went weeks, sometimes longer, without a response from our assigned event manager. We assumed it was because we were far out from our date but response time never picked up the closer we got. We are type A— very organized and prefer an open line of communication. Often we had to remind or follow up to receive the clarity we needed because planning on the venue’s side was just was not up to date or responsive at all (referencing direct communication with the assigned event manager). Steve (venue owner) was always responsive when escalating concerns due to no response from the event manager and always resolved any concerns we had. Moreover, I will say our day went smoothly and everything eventually fell into place. I would recommend to anyone willing to bear lax/little communication while planning their wedding! Things we loved were the furniture rental being included, access to rooftop after ceremony, the food, the venue set up and of course the open bar!! The ONLY thing we would change is the lack of communication with the event manager.

The food and drinks were incredible, and everything was handled so smoothly by their team. The staff was professional and attentive, ensuring the entire event ran seamlessly from start to finish. Having the ceremony on the rooftop and then celebrating with everyone inside made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. We truly felt taken care of throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Capulet to any couple looking for a gorgeous venue with great food, drinks, and an amazing team to make your wedding day unforgettable! Fantastic night at Capulet I had an amazing experience at Capulet in New Orleans. The food was delicious and clearly made with care, and everything came out nicely presented and full of flavor. The atmosphere was equally impressive—warm, lively, and welcoming without feeling too crowded or overwhelming. The service was excellent from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and professional, which really added to the overall experience. And the live music was the highlight of the night—fantastic performance that elevated the vibe and made the evening feel special.
