Central Park Zoo

Central Park Zoo turned out to be so much more than I expected. ❤️ I visited during a time when I was feeling emotionally drained, and somehow this beautiful place helped me reconnect with myself. There was something incredibly calming about walking through the zoo, watching the sea lions, penguins, and red pandas, and simply slowing down for a while. It felt like I could finally breathe again. By the time I left, I felt refreshed, full of energy, and genuinely happier. It was as if my blood started circulating again. 🌿 The zoo is beautifully maintained, the animal habitats are well cared for, and the entire place has a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the visit even more enjoyable. For me, this wasn't just a zoo—it was my little escape from the noise of the city. It felt like reaching my own version of peace. 🏔️✨ I will definitely come back the next time I'm in New York. Highly recommended! 🐧💚

✅The zoo was clean ✅Well maintained. ✅The staff was friendly. ✅Everything was organized. ✅It’s a fun experience for families and visitors of all ages. 🛑The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the variety of animals. Since the movie Madagascar made this zoo so famous, I was expecting to see animals like A 🦁lion A 🦒giraffe A 🦛hippopotamus A zebra. Unfortunately, those animals are not part of the zoo ☹️,…so, it was a bit different from what I imagined. Overall, it was still a great visit✨and I would recommend it to anyone spending time in Central Park.💎🫂

Beautiful zoo in a wonderful spot, but most animals sleep or hide, so it was disappointing. My visit at winter time was much better. They need get all the Madagascar movie animals, they only have lemurs and penguins - that are the best

An absolute gem in the heart of Manhattan! The Grizzly Bear exhibit (Treena’s Overlook) was a massive highlight,seeing such powerful animals with the city skyline in the background is surreal. They were so active, climbing the rocks and splashing around. The Snow Leopards are equally stunning; they have such a beautiful, rugged habitat that makes you forget you’re blocks away from Fifth Avenue. But the biggest surprise was the Tropic Zone. Walking from the crisp New York air into a humid, lush rainforest filled with free-flying birds, lemurs, and monkeys was an amazing transition. It feels like a total teleportation. Perfect for a 2-hour escape!
