Clos Pegase

Cute winery with great tasting wine. My wife and I were in the Napa area and were recommended from a family member to visit this particular winery. The cheese plate was fantastic and the wine tasting was elegantly presented and tastful. Decor was excellent, parking plentiful and staff incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time and will definitely stop in for a visit the next time we are in the Napa area.

A beautiful weekend day exploring the art, wine, and architecture of Clos Pegase was such a treat! Their grand-reopening under the new momentum and passion of Tammi and Jay Adair has brought the original flare and vision back into fruition! From the homage to Bacchus and the patina fountain to new artists amidst the finely crafted wines it twas a fine visit had by all!

Yesterday, we enjoyed an exceptional tour and tasting led by Russell. His insights into the artwork, the history of Clos Pegase Winery, and the overall enthusiasm for the property were impressive. The cave portion with the crystal-encrusted instrument was out of this world. The pacing was excellent, and the wine explanations were thorough. As members of the Adair family, we found this to be our favorite visit by far. Russell exemplifies the lost art of customer service and professionalism. Of course, the wines were extraordinary. We'll be back! Many thanks to Russell and the folks at Clos Pegase. Anthony and Alicia Prael

I brought my mother back to Clos Pegase after a 40 year absence. We had absolutely the best experience. The chateau has been restored to its original color and style (and I think) expanded as well. Jeff from the Clos Pegase's team was amazing; knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining. The wines were amazing. The Sauvignon Blanc was wonderful and unique (much less acidity than is typical), the two pinot noir clones (particularly the Pommard clone) were stars of the show along with the Bordeaux-style heritage. The grounds were lovely, well-shaded and decorated with modern art. The value for quality is one of the best I've experienced as well.

My daughter and I visited the tasting room a few months ago, and we enjoyed the wine, service, and ambiance so much that I knew I had to come back—this time with my husband. Our return visit was every bit as wonderful as the first. The building, grounds, and spectacular cave are absolutely breathtaking. It's clear they have been lovingly and thoughtfully restored, honoring the history of the iconic 1980s architecture while breathing new life into this remarkable property. I was delighted to see Russell, the manager, working again, as he had taken such great care of us during our first visit. This time was no exception. We arrived during a quieter part of the day, and he generously spent time with us, sharing the story of the property's restoration and the exciting vision for its future. He told us he treats the property as if it were his own home, and that genuine pride and care are evident in every detail. It's rare to meet someone who is so passionate about what they do, and Russell made our visit truly memorable. A special thank you as well to Jeff, who assisted Russell in the tasting room and helped make our experience even more enjoyable. The Adair family is doing an outstanding job as the new stewards of this majestic estate, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. And I have to mention the Homage Chardonnay—it is, without question, the best Chardonnay I have ever had anywhere. Compliments to the talented winemaker! We absolutely loved our experience at Clos Pegase and are already looking forward to bringing our friends on our next visit. Highly recommended!
