Delamar Greenwich Harbor

Honestly one of the nicer hotel experiences we have had in a while. We especially appreciated the glass of Prosecco at check in and the car service to our dinner reservation. The room was updated, extremely clean, and tastefully decorated. We had a harbor facing room with a balcony that had a nice outdoor seating area which we loved. Everything you could need was at your fingertips. Such a relaxing trip thank to you the excellent service. Overall we would highly recommend the Delamar!

I had a wonderful stay at the Delamar Hotel. The rooms are beautiful Italian style, very comfortable, and filled with thoughtful amenities that truly make guests feel welcomed. A special mention goes to Sara, the Head Concierge, who was exceptionally helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the stay. I would also like to recognize the concierge service on the fourth floor, which offers a lovely selection of amenities including early morning breakfast, aperitivo, and additional touches that make the experience feel even more special and personalized. In general, the entire staff is warm, kind, professional, and always available to assist with a smile. The restaurant also deserves recognition for its excellent service and very good food. What I appreciated most is that the hotel reminds me of the classic old-style luxury hotels that are unfortunately becoming very rare today — places where hospitality still feels personal and elegant. Considering this is officially a 4-star hotel, I honestly believe the level of service offered here is superior to many 5-star hotels around the world. I will definitely be happy to return.

Delamar is a Diamond! This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at a Delamar property. The first was seven years ago so I will treat this anew. First a shout out to the amazing staff: Sara - reservations, Ava - front desk, Ben - driver, and all those other individuals who made the stay better. Shoutout to engineering and reservations who helped get a microwave and refrigerator in the room. This was a must due to traveling arrangements and it was so convenient. From our arrival with the valet parking, it felt like a true vacation, even though the location is a staycation. Its also amazing that the hotel offered a “Staycation” price in their selection. I do not know if they do it year-round but it was nice to get a little discount especially in these financial times. When we arrived the front desk workers, especially Ava was so friendly. Answered all of our questions, guided us and made everything a smooth process. Ava started our trip with a warm smile and welcome. Sara, who I would consider the guardian angel of the hotel first noticed my wife and I when we checked in. We got there right around 3pm and we were unsure if the restaurant was open to get something to eat. She called the restaurant and got us a seat right away. The lunch at the on-site restaurant was good, tasty, if not a tad pricey. We had a great view to see the harbor and we had an excellent stroll after we ate. The rooms themselves were a good size, the updated room we had a very nice, clean and new furnished bathroom. My wife loved the chair in our room so much that I inquired with staff about it (special shoutout to Maggie Dedushi) for providing the information a few days AFTER I checked out. Now that is communication and customer service at a five star level. My wife and I explored the Greenwich Avenue area, and another key hotel amenity was the car service. Shoutout to Ben who was polite, timely and funny. He dropped us off wherever we needed to go. Whether that was Raphael’s bakery (my wife loved the sandwiches and I devoured like three cookies), the consigned design store, or the monoplex inside of the Hyatt nearby. It was refreshing to not have to lift a finger to drive during that time. It added a extra luxury to stay. The package we picked included a restaurant credit, breakfast credits and a late checkout. Now this was great because it was a little nugget of bang for your buck in the food department, as I said earlier in this economy that perceived - and in this case actual value due to the excellent quality of food from the restaurant - made the stay feel worthwhile. The omelettes were excellent, a good way to start the day. The dinner credit was also an excellent experience. Covering nearly half our meal by the end of it. This dinner is where Lescale shined. They passed out this tomato soup in a small cup to try and it was fantastic. It was smooth, creamy, and dipping the bread with french butter into it was a simple yet sublime experience. The steak was fantastic and the french fries oh man salty and crunchy to perfection. I wish the room service price add ons did not make it restrictive to use, we never did, but we did carry out food which was equally fine. Sadly, one issue we had was when our A/C was not working our first night. When I mentioned it to Sara the next day she handled everything. She had staff perform a maintenance check, and there was a broken piece preventing proper air circulation. Sara apologized and moved us into another room. This made us feel welcome and heard as guests which was invaluable. My only regret is we did not get to take a boat along the harbor. We knew we arrived too early but I told my wife we intend on returning, maybe in their top room if they have staycation options for those, to ride the boat in the Summer. Otherwise the trip was perfect because of the people and services offered at the Delamar. It’s an easy 5 star recommendation!!

I loved everything about my stay in this hotel. Staff was so friendly, the place is beautiful and clean, rooms are great and very comfortable. Will come back for sure.

Had a great one night ‘staycation’ at the Delamar. Really enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely go back. The rooms are very nice- very comfortable and upscale. We had a room overlooking the Greenwich harbor which was a nice view. The rooms had a balcony with a small table and two chairs. In the lobby they have a small ‘library’ which is very comfortable with nice couches and a nice decor. The working fireplace on a cold, rainy spring day was great. They had free wine and cheese which was nice. We only had a drink at L’Escale- their restaurant but it’s a nice place. We missed the free breakfast as it was only 7-10 am so I can’t comment on the food. The hotel location is terrific. It’s just down the road from Greenwich Ave where there’s many upscale shops and restaurants. It’s an easy walk or they offer free shuttle service. My wife had a massage at the spa which she enjoyed. Service at the Delamar is great. Everyone is helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend the Delamar.
