El Dorado Royale

Exceeded every expectation. The service throughout my stay was exceptional — the team went above and beyond at every turn, attentive without being intrusive. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The food and drinks truly set this resort apart. I work in the travel industry and visit all-inclusive resorts 20+ times a year, so I don't say this lightly — the culinary quality and beverage program here genuinely stood out. Thank you to EDR and the entire team for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

To start out this is my favorite place in Mexico the amenities and the hospitaly is amazing. From the pick up at the airport to the drop off is such a great experience. I never saw a single person with a frown on the face. Every one treats you so kindly and courteous that it invites you to go back and be in that happy place. The pool is amazing and most of the rooms have a pool in the porch. The first floor lead to the main pool and let me tell you what a pool it is. I love that the kids have so much space to roam and not get bored and put their electronics away. My butler Luis and Israel made my accommodation so much better anything you need they are always there to provide assistance and communication is down to the t. With these guys. The spas are amazing very clean and well taken care off. The food omg the food is so fresh it will satisfy the taste buds of the most critics. So many different places to eat you won't get bored. If you haven't been you should definitely check this place out you will love it.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel like valued guests, not just another reservation. I had the privilege of attending the Female Leaders in Travel Conclave during my stay, and it added an incredible layer of inspiration to the experience. The event was hosted by the AMAZING - Señora Delores, whose leadership, warmth and vision made the gathering truly unforgettable. Lomas Hospitality went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure the event and our stay were seamless, meaningful and exceptional. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking—lush tropical landscaping, beautiful pools and a peaceful adults-only atmosphere that makes it easy to truly relax. Every corner of the resort is meticulously maintained, and there is always something beautiful to discover. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of restaurants offering delicious, high-quality meals, making them all memorable. The drinks were equally impressive, and the bartenders and servers consistently went above and beyond. What truly made our stay special, though, was the staff. Their kindness, attentiveness and genuine smiles created an experience that felt personal from beginning to end. It’s clear they take great pride in making every guest feel cared for. If you’re looking for an adult getaway, a place to reconnect or simply an escape where you can unwind in paradise, El Dorado Royale is an incredible choice. Breakfast at Cocotal is lovely. This place is an elevated buffet with many options for all, and plenty of space to move about. Authentic fresh tacos, fresh omelets and a variety of many other foods and treats are available. Victor, our waiter of many years, is an absolute joy when we arrive. He knows what drinks we order, and almost has it at our table before sitting. He is our favorite waiter for breakfast and lunch as he is detailed and so friendly. Thank you to Victor for always making our meals special. 13 years he has served us well and we look forward to many more!

This resort is amazing but there are some things to know before you go. First, this is family-owned so things aren't the same as large chain resorts. But the care and attention to detail is top notch! The rooms are a bit "dark" and lighting could go to be improved. But the rooms are spacious and clean. If you are a beach person, you won't be thrilled. But you have access to Maroma, which has a beautiful beach. With that being said, there are plenty of pools and the vibe is great! Where this resort SHINES is food and service. The food is absolutely amazing. If you have an opportunity, splurge and book Fuentes. You won't be sad. But as good as the food is, the service and staff are even better. Everyone truly takes pride in the resort and your stay. I can't wait to come back to Royale and to experience more of the El Dorado resorts.
