El Encanto

We had a wonderful & relaxing stay at El Encanto last week. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning grounds, prime location, and just excellent service that made it the perfect stop during our World Cup road trip. A special thanks to Adile at the front desk, who is on exchange from her hospitality school in Switzerland. She was very helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. She’s a great addition to the team and deserves recognition. Highly recommend this gem! 💎

El Encanto was absolutely amazing. My fiancée and I stayed there this weekend, and everything about the experience was perfect. The location and views were fantastic, and the hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and elegant. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the service. From the valet to the front desk and every staff member we interacted with, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone had a great attitude, made us feel welcomed, and went above and beyond. Most importantly, I have to give a special thank you to James. All I can say is: call James from Concierge, he is the man! I had planned a special surprise for my now-fiancée, and James not only delivered, but exceeded every expectation. He helped with all the specific details, communicated clearly, and provided amazing customer service from start to finish. He truly did an outstanding job and helped make one of the most important moments of our lives even more special. Thank you, James, and thank you to the entire El Encanto team. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing property that is under new ownership who is actively investing in and improving. Feels like you are in Italy. It is sprawling with beautiful landscaping and scenery. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff are amazing - welcoming, resourceful, kind and hospitable. Food is great and so fresh. It’s a comfortable place to relax, between the pool, fireplaces, lobby, and deck. Located conveniently in the middle of Santa Barbara. We have stayed at some amazing hotels all over the world and the El Encanto is high up there. Nothing beats their hospitality.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Feels a million miles away yet only 12 minutes from State Street up in the hills. Amazing service from all staff including front desk, valet, and restaurants. Romantic and relaxing- an absolute treat. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!

Where do I begin? Our experience here was simply phenomenal! Tucked away in the hills, hidden from the hustle and bustle of State and Cabrillo, this place served as our sanctuary. The Grounds were green and lush, the Walkways well maintained, the Suite was IMMACULATE and the Staff professional, courteous, respectful, helpful and kind. From Nick the manager of Guest Accomodaitons to Nolan with Valet, Shannon at the Front Desk, Geo with maintenance, the crew running the restaurant, housekeeping and everyone in between, we were made to feel at home and welcome. Enjoying the peace and tranquility of the grounds, we opted to eat at the on-site restaurant; the food was absolutely amazing. And as day turned to dusk, the evening sky was that of a storybook. If you’ve never been, you must give this place a try. You won’t regret it. Thanks for an unforgettable time El Encanto!
