Faraway Jackson Hole

★★★☆☆ The location is really the main reason I’m giving this hotel three stars. Teton Village is beautiful and very convenient, but for the price, I expected the accommodations to be in much better condition. I paid approximately $6,500 for an 8–9 day stay, and unfortunately the room felt very old and dated. There was also a noticeable old/musty smell that made the room feel even more worn. The biggest issue by far was the bathroom. The room had a huge jacuzzi tub that did not work, yet the shower was located inside this tub. To take a shower, you had to climb over an unusually large, high step and into the tub. Getting in was inconvenient, but getting back out while wet was genuinely concerning. The large tiled step is directly outside the tub, and one slip could result in a very serious fall or head injury. I’m surprised this setup is still being used in a hotel at this price point. The attached photo shows exactly what I mean. For approximately $6,500, I expected a much more updated, comfortable, and safer room. The property needs significant renovation, particularly the bathrooms. The location is excellent, and that is what brought my rating up to three stars. Without the location, I would have rated the stay lower.

This was our first time visiting Jackson Hole and we are so glad we decided to stay at Faraway. Perfect location, walking distance from all restaurants. Hotel is beautiful and clean. I loved the aesthetic of the lobby and rooms. The service was incredible, everyone was friendly and helpful. I have to give a special thanks to David who went out of his way to mail out my watch that I left behind. We are already planning our next vacation and will be staying at faraway for sure.

My wife and I had an incredible time over July 4th weekend. New ownership and remodel is outstanding! The interior design is awesome, the staff was incredible, every single person! They were very helpful, Personable, and friendly. The property was very clean… hard to beat this place. Great Value! Hats off to you guys, keep up the good work & we hope to see you again 😊

Staying at Faraway was a dream. The intentionality of the staff was incredible and the overall decor was magnificent. I’ll be thinking about this hotel for many days to come and certainly returning next year!

My family wanted to enjoy Teton National Park and nearby activities. Teton Village offers a great area to experience many activities.
