Gibson’s Inn at Gate One

Our stay at Gibson Inn was great! The staff was amazing. The breakfast was great and had tons of options. The room came with complimentary snacks and wine. The hotel was cozy and cute. The location was a 5-minute or less walk to the waterfront and close to tons of restaurants. The room was a little small, but clean and stayed very cool. I would recommend that everyone stay at the Gibson Inn whenever visiting Annapolis for a short weekend getaway.

We loved the Gibson Inn! The hotel staff was wonderful, helpful, and so friendly. The amenities of parking and continental breakfast was great. Our building had a common room where you could grab coffee, fill up water bottles, relax and read a book if you felt like it. We stayed in the November Rain room, and it was just perfect. The hotel is bed and breakfast style so each room is different with size and set up. They provided a TON of free snacks for the room, drinking water, tea and coffee. They even included a few coupons to local businesses to go enjoy. The buildings are older so, we had a window unit for AC and it worked wonders. We stayed during one of the most humid weekends and we were perfectly comfortable with the window unit cooling us off. The location was perfect! You can leave your car and walk anywhere downtown, you’re steps away from the Naval Academy and the waterfront. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking to stay in Annapolis.

I had a wonderful stay at Gibson's Inn! The location, service, and overall experience exceeded my expectations. It's conveniently located in the heart of downtown Annapolis, just a short walk from the U.S. Naval Academy, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. They greeted me right away, helped with the parking process, made check-in quick and seamless, and even walked me to my room. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was exactly as pictured! It was clean, comfortable, and spotless. Whenever I needed anything, I simply sent a text, and they responded almost immediately. Their communication and customer service were excellent. A few things to keep in mind if you're planning to stay here: parking is an additional $30 per night, and breakfast is available for an extra $30. The only minor downside was that the walls seemed a bit thin, so I could occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms. However, it wasn't enough to affect my stay. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay at Gibson's Inn again. Thank you to the entire staff for the exceptional hospitality!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was lovely and perfect. Quiet dispite being downtown. Clean and well-maintained. Communication prior to arrival was great. Would absolutely stay here again.

Gibson's Inn At Gate One is a fantastic place to stay. When we arrived, check in was exceptionally easy. We had to go to the office to find our room and the worker staffing the office not only offered to show us where our room was, but also offered to bring our bags! We booked the Touch of Grey. The room was clean, and they even had a welcome bag full of snacks and two special treats: homemade pop-tarts from a local eatery, Iron Rooster. The pop-tarts are what store-bought should be...delicious and hearty. One thing we did notice was that the room was warm and kept getting warmer. We mentioned it to the gentleman working and when he couldn't get in touch with the maintenance crew, he found and moved us to another room, Rhapsody in Blue. This room was, first off, much cooler. Secondly it was clean and spacious. And the bathroom and shower were amazing. The water pressure, normally a point of contention with other places, was strong and very relaxing. We felt so spoiled. The added amenities are also worth noting. My boyfriend used the sausa twice and the gym offered a lot if equipment. The Inn is ideally located. Step outside and you're literally steps away from everything downtown Annapolis has to offer. Oh, and another fantastic perk: parking can be included with your stay...no fighting for street parking! The breakfast, while not continental, was good. We even got breakfast delivered to us on the last day of our stay. Talk about spoiling your guests! Do I recommend Gibson's Inn? Absolutely! We intend on visiting Annapolis regularly. And everytime we do, we will certainly stay at Gibson's Inn.
