Heathman Hotel

The location is tough to beat. This iconic hotel is the second oldest in Portland and recent renovations have kept it current, while retaining historic elements. I visited the lobby and second floor to evaluate hosting events in the venue and feel it’s an excellent fit.

We had a very nice stay at the Heathman! Everything is well decorated, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the bed was pretty comfy! The location was also solid, with easy access to most places. One thing to note, if you're a larger person, their room bathrooms might be too small. It's definitely a bit of a tight squeeze in them.

I’ve been studying here on weekends. It gets me out of the house. It’s also convenient since the lobby is always open. The library is under construction right now. Every time I go the staff is phenomenal. I haven’t spent the night but plan to do a getaway when I go to an event in December. The restaurant is lovely. I always get something to eat to give back to the business while I use the space to study. Thankful for this gem.

GREAT Value for the price. Staff friendly, centrally located, breakfast delicious. Bed comfy. Clean and classy. The amenities fee seems a little steep, but hard to get away from those. And if you apply it to food you will be less annoyed, it really is good. And check out the chocolate shop attached.

Free bicycles included in stay! Great way to see Portland. Fantastic location. Amazing historic hotel with extensive library and board games. In-room French press and tea selection. Quiet and nicely appointed. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend.
