I've read a few of the other reviews, and I can agree that it takes a few minutes for the hot water to warm up. Honestly, that's not much different than at home, so it wasn't a big deal for us. Just be patientβ€”the shower is wonderful, and the toiletries smell fantastic. The only surprise during our stay was that the room doesn't have a true minifridgeβ€”it's more of a cooler just for drinks β€”and there's no microwave. We found that odd. We had planned to keep sandwich meat and restaurant leftovers for lunches during our extended stay, but that wasn't really possible. We ended up keeping our coffee creamer in the ice bucket and even took our microwave popcorn home unopened. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's something to know if you like having simple meals in your room. The location was one of our favorite parts of the stay. Having Sawmill Market directly across the street was convenient, and I walked to Old Town several times while my husband attended his conference. The grounds have a lot of character, and the poolside service was attentive and worth trying. The staff was consistently friendly and always available. Housekeeping refreshed our supplies often and offered turndown service, so we never found ourselves needing anything. We stayed near the airport the night before because we arrived very late, and the difference was noticeable. That hotel felt musty, while this one was fresh, comfortable, and had much better beds. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Great hotel in the heart of old town Albuquerque! Whether you're in town for Balloon fiesta or any other reason, this hotel is excellent. Really well priced compared to other places nearby considering how nice it is! The pool was great and serviced by the hotel restaurant staff. It made for a great staycation for our family. Sawmill Market is right next door and old town is just a quick walk, as are several museums including the natural history museum, explora children's museum, the Albuquerque art museum, and the rattlesnake museum! The zoo, aquarium and botanical garden are all very nearby as well. Tons to do, numerous great restaurants.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing view. Safe area. Front desk was super friendly. The people working at the restaurant honestly could learn how to smile and thats accounting for at least 5 workers. With the exception of the service at the restaurant/bar, this was one of the top places to stay at during our road trip! Front desk people, you did most of the heavy lifting. Keep up the great work!

Hotel itself is a beautiful older building with a lot of character, but unfortunately the stay didn’t match the price we paid. Rates were clearly inflated because of events happening that weekend, and for what we received, it just wasn’t worth the cost. The renovations felt poorly done. The rooms are extremely small and difficult to move around in comfortably. The popcorn ceilings made the rooms feel dated, and the shower setup was frustrating β€” the shower heads are mounted very high while the water pressure was very low. That said, there were some positives. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we slept well. The restaurant food was genuinely excellent, and the customer service from the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Valet service was also inconvenient. You have to specifically request assistance, and luggage carts were not brought to the rooms, which was surprising considering the price point of the hotel. Overall, while the building itself has charm and the staff was kind, the experience simply did not justify the premium pricing.

This was a great stop along interstate 40. They do allow dogs for a $75 fee the room are very nice. Beds and pillows are super super comfortable. It is walking distance to great restaurants and just all around nice place to walk around especially after a long day on the road.
