Ingleside Estate Hotel & Bungalows- Adults Only

Pretty disappointed. Small outdated room. This place definitely needs upgrades. Pool lounges only have one position and that is reclining way back. Pool was a bit cloudy and stuff floating in it. Brick around pool is very hot. Stayed at much better places in Palm springs for the same price point. Update. We were upgraded to a better room which was bigger and nicer. I have to agree with another reviewer about the bad painting job of the floors. After the first day we only used the pools at the Avalon as they were much nicer.

Just stayed here over 4th of July weekend. We had an amazing time!! This hotel is such a gem the rooms were very thoughtfully designed. I love that you get the option of a few different pools since they’re slightly different vibes. The hotel restaurant was also great. I think what stood out the most is how unbelievably kind the staff is both at Ingleside and the sister hotel, The Avalon. We will be coming back!!

I absolutely love this place! It is my husband and my go-to! The last trip we had there, Alexis was working the pool service, and he went out of his way to make my husband's birthday special. Thank you, Alexis! This is such a wonderful establishment, rich in history, clean rooms, lovely staff, beautiful pool, and of course, Melvins is always a blast.

This is our second time staying at Ingleside and it was another great visit. There are so many options in PS now, each of which offer a different experience. What makes this property so special is its history, relatively small size (in terms of number of rooms) but spacious footprint (lots of space by the pool so you're never fighting over a lounge chair), having an awesome dining/bar option onsite (Melvyns is really special and somewhere we visit every time we're in PS, regardless of where we're staying), and that it's part of the Chase The Edit program (great for program benefits and perks). We've stayed both in the entry level room as well as the deluxe and both were absolutely great. The overall location is perfect - within walking distance to the museum, trailheads, town proper, as well as great nearby destination restaurants (Mr Lyons and Bar Cecil). All of the staff onsite is always super attentive from Guillermo at breakfast and by the pool, Buddy at Melvyn's bar, the front desk staff (even on a late arrival Friday night!), and the super house-keeping crew. There is a Tesla destination charger which is always a nice touch. And the ability to access the amenities at the sister Avalon Hotel is great as well (access to their well equipped gym, numerous other pools, breakfast dining options at Chi Chi, etc).

I’d like to preface this by saying we just checked in, so this review is based solely on our first impressions. The hotel itself is very charming, and our room is clean and well-presented. Unfortunately, our arrival experience was disappointing. The hotel was hosting an event at the restaurant, and all onsite guest parking was taken. We were not informed of this in advance. When we asked about parking, we were told to find street parking or park in another business’s lot across the street, without any assistance or alternative suggestions. We ultimately had to park several blocks away and were not offered the option to temporarily leave our luggage in the lobby while we walked back. What was most frustrating was the lack of acknowledgment or apology for the inconvenience. The event appeared to have valet service available, yet this option was not offered to us as overnight guests. While I understand that parking is limited, expecting guests, especially those unfamiliar with the area, to navigate this situation entirely on their own is disappointing. There were several other hotels we considered, and we were genuinely excited to stay here. However, based on the level of customer service we experienced within the first few minutes of arrival, we will likely reconsider before booking again.
