Kimpton Canary Hotel

This Kimpton hotel has to be one of the best we have stayed at. The location, convenience and hospitality were all fantastic! Loved the food and service at the restaurant. Rooftop pool was great to relax and unwind. We will definitely come back to stay for our next trip!

I’ve stayed at the Kimpton several times in the past and always had a positive experience. This time I asked for a quiet room and ended up in what is likely the most noisy room on a low floor, facing the street. The walls are also paper thin so much that I can hear the room next to me closing their curtains. There is a rooftop pool with nice views of Santa Barbara. The beds are comfortable. The rooms were recently remodeled but that is really just new furniture, the bathrooms have not been updated.

Great stay at Kimpton Canary. Location was perfect right in downtown. Free bike rental was a plus. They have a gym partner not too far away with a massive gym which was a bonus. Dinner at Finch and Fork was 10/10 and breakfast was great too. No complaints! Stayed through Chase Edit Collection and the credit could be used for dinner, valet, or room service.

Stay was lovely, service was lovely. Parking is $55 for guests. Expensive compared to other hotels nearby. San Ysidro Ranch, for example, is a much nicer hotel 10 mins away where parking is free for guests and patrons of the restaurants or spa.

I visited this Hotel to attend a day long seminar. It is located on lower end of Carillo Street in Santa Barbara. The hotel served a delicious breakfast that included yogurt, toast with a variety of jams and various flavored oatmeals, coffee and tea. The conference rooms we utilized were big and very clean. For lunch, the hotel brought out various salads, baked chicken and a shrimp salad. Everything was delicious. The staff was very nice and quick to help. Enjoyed my time and the valet parking at the Kimpton Canary Hotel.
