Lovett Hall

Lovett Hall is beautiful, our day was picture perfect. We were originally planning to do the ceremony outside, but due to rain it moved inside and we could not have been happier with how it turned out despite not being what we had originally planned for. With such a stunning venue, it’s surprising that what stood out to us the most about it was the people. We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with to help bring our day to fruition. Ryan and his team guided us every step of the way and he was always there to answer our (many) questions. Ryan and the entire Lovett hall team made our wedding day that much better because of the genuine warmth, excitement, and care they brought to their work.

I had my reception here and absolutely loved it. The venue is amazing, and it has great parking for those older family members that aren't able to walk far. It is open later than most venues as well. We had a vow renewal on the 1st floor, then a cocktail hour in the entry, and last the reception in the ballroom. The food was excellent, and then drinks were great. No one needed to wait very long. It's not cheap though, and the minimums are pretty high. You get what you pay for though. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I attended a wedding here in September. The wedding ceremony took place outside and then they had a cocktail hour on the first floor of the hall. After the cocktail hour was over, the reception was held upstairs. The hall was beautifully decorated and even the outside was decorated. The food was really good and the bar during the cocktail hour and during the reception was great. All the staff at this place were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place for a wedding. There is plenty of parking right next to the hall.

Lovett Hall is the gift that keeps on giving for wedding venues. Not only are there things to photograph in every season, but the hall oozes warmth, has a classic feel and yet the ballroom is built for fun. The food is amazing, the staff are helpful to everyone and I've never seen a wedding there that didn't leave everyone breathless. 10/10 wedding venue.

Lovett Hall is such an incredible space! I love photographing weddings here. There are so many great locations in and around the Venue. Lovett Hall is such a beautiful timeless space, it's a photographers playground! Then you have one of the best museums in the world just feet away to get creative in too. The staff are also really attentive and go out of their way to help. It's also ideally located if you want to do pictures in Detroit. I look forward to the next time I work there!
