I am midwest based wedding and film photographer who had the honor of photographing my first wedding at Melrose Abbey in October of 2025. This wedding venue was stunning inside and out and made for a perfect location for a wedding in central Kansas City. Every room had character and had tons of natural light. We could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! Everything was absolutely beautiful, and the space created the perfect setting for one of the best days of our lives. A special thank you to Jenna, the venue manager—she is absolutely amazing! She was incredibly helpful, organized, responsive, and truly went above and beyond throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. Her kindness and attention to detail made everything feel so much less stressful, and we always knew we were in great hands. We received so many compliments on the venue, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful space and an incredible team!

We had our May 2026 wedding at Melrose Abbey and couldn’t have been happier. We spent a lot of time and energy doing our venue search and after a tour, we knew Melrose Abbey was perfect for us. Venue Manager Jenna was so wonderful to work with and the preferred vendors list they provide was so helpful. Melrose requires a day of coordinator and this was a huge help! We wanted to do the planning and design ourselves, but having a coordinator to help with our rehearsal and day of logistics was so nice so our family and friends could truly enjoy the day! We would choose Melrose Abbey again and again!

Melrose Abbey is THE venue to have your next celebration! The owners, Johnny & Abby, completely restored the church & no detail was spared. From the beautiful light wood floors to the absolutely stunning chandeliers in every room to the incredible bridal party suites. It’s pure perfection! 10/10 recommend!
