Napa River Inn

This hotel from the amazing staff, the manager (I think she was the manager) , the food and my room to the epic views, hands down one of the best travel experiences of my life. My room overlooked the river, the patio where people ate and drank quiety, the Napa Train across the other side of the river, it was breathtaking. Wish I had known about this cool train that takes it customers on tastings and fine dining before I spent my funds else where. Truly a spectacular experience and I will be coming back and taking that intruging train ride! Sunsets will never be the same.

Napa River Inn is in one of the greatest spots! You get a view of the water, walk into downtown, and have some of the best staff to help you out! Everyone was an absolute delight, and without the kindness, and helpfulness of the staff it wouldn’t have been as amazing as a trip. We came for a bachelorette weekend and wanted to decorate one of our rooms. Huge shoutout to Rosie at concierge who let us bring some decorations that she put up in the room while we went out to the wineries. Every single person who works here and interacted and/or helped us that weekend were simple the best.

What a lovely, charming place to stay! So many places are in walking distance and being next to the river is relaxing and peaceful. The attention to detail and the friendly, helpfulness of the employees is beyond expectations. Get a room with a balcony so you can watch all the people outside walking their dogs.

My husband and I stay here often, but most recently I stayed with 3 girlfriends. I had a lovely view of the river and the most comfortable mattress and dreamy sheets and pillows. I pay attention to an app that gives me my sleep score nightly, and I''m typically in the 70s-80s. This night at Napa River Inn, I scored a 92! The location is perfect for exploring the shops and restaurants in downtown Napa. We had a decadent dinner at Angele, located a few doors down, and enjoyed a yummy breakfast sandwich at the bakery next door. Try their "morning bun" too. SO tasty!

I am an elite Marriott member and they offered the three cheapest continental options for the free breakfast (oatmeal, yogurt and overnight oats). Did not even allow us to upgrade to a hot breakfast. The hot items were only $4 more. Seriously, nickel and diming your hotel guests. The bed and pillows were also uncomfortable. Definitely not worth it for the money. Overpriced. And felt more like a 3* hotel than anything else.
