What a treat it was to photograph at this stunning venue. Olowalu has breathtaking views of the ocean, and feels like a real escape from reality. The owners are kind and inviting. Definitely recommend and would love to photograph here again soon!

As a Maui wedding photographer, we highly recommend this picture-perfect, oceanfront venue. With breathtaking panoramic views, golden sunsets, and the soothing sounds of the waves, this location offers the ideal setting for capturing unforgettable wedding moments. Its large ocean-front lawn surrounded by palm trees and other Hawaii flora provides different options for ceremony and reception floor plans. We love that it is private and can accommodate intimate celebrations as well as large gatherings. You and your guests will experience breathtaking ocean views with the island of Lanai in the background and even whales breaching during the months of December thru April. Yes! Whales!! The charming house has the perfect lay-out for both bride and groom to get ready and not see each other. To top it all, couples can access the Olowalu Pier which is the dreamiest location to get photos during golden hour with both ocean and West-Maui mountains as your backdrop. Here, our couples get to take a moment and look at their wedding celebration from afar during sunset. This is always a magical moment! Olowalu Plantation House is, hands-down, my favorite wedding venue to photograph on Maui. Ocean front, a gorgeous plantation house to get ready in, and then the epic views of the mountain on the pier, it has a little bit of everything! The property is incredibly versatile with multiple places for your ceremony - and it can accommodate large and small groups!

Olowalu Plantation House is one of my favorite Maui wedding venues. As a wedding photographer, it has so many beautiful locations to photograph at. The house is perfect for getting ready photos, the large lawn is ideal of the ceremony and reception. For sunset photos, I always love going our onto the Olowalu Pier. It gives you stunning views of the ocean and the West Maui Mountains in the background. You can’t beat this oceanfront venue!
