Palm House

The place is incredible - so beautiful, the pool is great, the neighborhood is quiet and 10min drive from the major Constantia wineries. When you drive in you feel like in a movie. The staff is one of a kind - super friendly, nice and professional. They were very helpful during our stay - we arrived early morning, we could join the breakfast and our room was ready as soon as we were done with breakfast. They even remembered that we drink our coffee with almond milk and left a small bottle of almond milk in our room fridge. Everything was done to make our stay special. The room itself was really nice - we’ve got a bungalow style room next to the pool, which was perfect. The only improvement would be the loud air con, but we visited in April so we actually didn’t need it much and didn’t ask anyone to fix it. And of course the food in both restaurants (as well as for breakfast) is spectacular. Apart from more casual lunch/dinner in the palm restaurant, we had an amazing bday dinner in Tafel restaurant. It couldn’t be better. It was an amazing stay and we would be back anytime. And thanks to all the staff for making our stay special.

A superb luxury hotel, beautiful setting. The best team I have ever experienced meeting. We were warmly welcomed by Christine, a huge shout out to her, her customer care is above and beyond, outstanding. As soon as we arrived in this wonderful place we immediately destressed thanks to Christine! The rooms are divine, the beds , absolute comfort. Our dining experience was equally wonderful, a big shout out to Richard who looked after us and to Ibrahim who gave us fantastic food and wine recommendations, Zara too, excellent customer care. We were greeted by Ilza the next morning, Susan on check out. We were sad to leave this fabulous hotel and its wonderful, dedicated team.

Lovely hotel with incredible staff. Friendly, attentive, humorous, professional, really a joy. Our room was beautiful and spacious. Only downside is shower that makes everything wet, but that to me is such a minor inconvenience that it did not matter to us. Food was also very good and pool was heated. Grounds well manicured. My 2 year old son was treated by everyone so friendly. Would stay again.

We came with our family past Friday for Steak Club, and we had a Wonderfull evening! I had the wagyu and my friend had the Picanha and both were so tasteful! I would like to give my compliments to the Chef and our waiter Ibrahim! Palm house is a real hidden gem with beautiful grounds and amazing staff! from the security guard to our waiter they were all Wonderfull! We now booked for De Tafel for next week and we look forward to come back! see you soon!

Absolutely loved our one-night stay at The Palm House Boutique Hotel. We had a great dinner at the Terrace restaurant and our waiter Ibrahim was so helpful and friendly, which really reflected the service from all the staff. Breakfast was also lovely and we felt so comfortable throughout our stay that we honestly didn’t want to leave. The fireplace makes it especially perfect for a winter stay and we will definitely be back for a longer staycation next time.
