Park City Mountain Venues

What an amazing mountain!! With park city being the biggest resort in the US both trails wise and acreage there is always some terrain for every one. My first time at this mountain we had 2 feet of snow the day before and it was just fantastic, there is nothing as delicious as a powder day in Utah and park city is just great

I want to be clear: I am not against difficult terrain. I am an experienced skier and regularly ski black-diamond runs. However, today at Park City Mountain Resort, likely on Double Jack, I had a poor and potentially dangerous experience. The issue was not the difficulty itself, but the condition of the trail and the lack of proper warning. The run was completely ungroomed, with deep, hard, uneven moguls, far beyond what most skiers would expect from a standard black run. Despite this, it remained open with no signage indicating that it was effectively expert-only terrain. As a result, many unprepared skiers ended up on the run, struggling and stopping constantly, creating an unsafe and stressful situation. Difficult runs are fine — lack of clear warnings is not. Trails in this condition should be clearly marked or closed.

Park City is an awesome ski resort. The snow sucked this year but that was a climate change/off-season issue. Park City's free bus routes make it easy to get around. The downton is accessible and filled with galleries and restaurants. The skiing is amazing when the snow is good and everything is open. You can ski all day over to the other side of Canyons and back. The Mid-Mountain Lodge near McConkey's is my favorite lunch spot - the deck has a superior view and the crispy brussel sprouts are to die for.

Park City Mountain Resort is hands down one of the best ski resorts I’ve ever visited! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the incredible variety of runs, the stunning mountain views, and the top-notch facilities. The resort is massive, offering something for every level of skier or snowboarder, from beginners to advanced riders. The snow conditions were perfect, and the mountain itself is well-maintained, with plenty of groomed runs and powder-filled trails. The lift system is super efficient, and I barely had to wait in line, which is a big plus during busy times. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, whether it was giving advice on where to ski or helping with rentals. Speaking of rentals, the equipment was in great condition, and the process was quick and easy. I would recommend this location to anyone whether you’re an expert skier or just starting out, it is an amazing location.

Let me say the skiing is great and the emergency services is fantastic getting my daughter off the middle of hoist. The resort could take time to inform the guests what is open and what isn't with more effort at the top of the lifts... a bad season doesn't have to bear bad communication. There probably isn't much effort ever needed on good years but when the trails are closed the maps or a status board at top of lifts should let you know whats closed. it becomes a bad experience when lots of the park is closed (40%). Fortunately i got lots of fun at the top of the mountain where the snow was good and everything was open. For those who want to get away from the hustle. The best place is jupiter lift. The runs are all double black but the lift line is green= No wait.
