If you’re craving Elk meat like a hungry bear (which apparently frequent the roads at night 😱) then dive right in here. They’ve got an Elk bratwurst, an Elk chop and the soup of the day was Elk n vegetable. Loved the smoked trout dip starter. Only niggle, the drive out is not short and once you’re there ain’t nothing to do but turn around and go back the way you came. You could hike a path or two but smelling like cooked Elk in the woods is prolly not what the ranger recommends for safety.

Great location/scenic views with nice outdoor seating. Nice interior design. Good service, but with a 20% gratuity automatically charged, good or bad service doesn't have an incentive to be better. Quality of food is mediocre for the price. You're paying for the view. I tried the Elk chops and liked it. At $89, it was just okay. My wife tried the salmon and again nothing great about it but it was overpriced.

Nestled in the heart of the Elk Mountain range, it offers sweeping views and an incredible ceremony site. Its remote location adds to the charm. My wife and I just enjoyed a great dinner here. I am not sure what the previous negative reviewers saw or had, but our experience was great. Solid food and drinks that satisfied our needs. The staff is great and very attentive to our table. The drive up this July day was phenomenal. Will come back again when in the area.
