Prospect House

We had an amazing stay at The Prospect House for my sister’s bachelorette weekend! The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and spend quality time together after exploring the sights, shops, and wineries throughout Door County. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere made it feel like a true home away from home, and everything we needed for a wonderful weekend was readily available. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to gather, celebrate, and make memories. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Door County!

Had a wonderful stay at The Prospect House. Easy to book and great communication with our host. We booked the Oak Street Suite on the first floor and enjoyed our accommodations. Plenty of room to rest and relax in. Loved the fireplace and jacuzzi tub! Light breakfast options were a great start to the day, and there were other options for coffee and breakfast nearby. The Prospect House is also in walking distance to the shops, restaurants, Maritime Museum and bridges nearby. We took trips to Fish Creek, and a number of the beautiful parks that Door County has to offer. We would definitely consider another stay in the future!

Charming quaint house featuring unique rooms. We enjoyed several days here enjoying what Door County has to offer during the day then relaxed in the evenings at Prospect House. There was plenty of room to visit with family.

Stayed in a first floor suite at this great old house. Terrific location just blocks the Maritime Museum. The old house has its quirks - the suite is accessible by old pocket doors locked with a skeleton key and doesn't feel incredibly secure, though the house has a keypad on the exterior door. Comfy bed, two-person jetted tub. Morning coffee, cereal bars and fruit available. Responsive service by Nick, the owner, who lives in the house with his family. Our stay was quiet and uneventful. We were delighted we found this gem.

Nick and Cameron have transformed a sleepy Victorian house into a welcoming bed and breakfast, full of charm and romantic ambiance. We stayed in the second-floor Ellen Room with a view of the fall foliage colors of Sturgeon Bay. Coffee and homemade pastries awaited us each morning, with beer, water and juices available in the fridge. Our large, clean bedroom and bath made this place an enjoyable and perfect hub for our Door County explorations. Grab it if available!
